Brief History: Shape shifting green kid who turns into animals and saves the world with a bunch of other teenagers once a week.

AU Ideas: In this setting, Beast Boy's parents were a pair of roving pokemon researchers. They got killed in a flood while exploring the wilderness, orphaning him. He was enlightened, though, so when he made it back to Union, the city let him join the Swords of the Saviors.

After a while, he found the Sword to be too regimented and too demanding and so he left on good terms. He is now one of the younger members of the Guard.
Looking For: Stand ins for the Teen Titans:

Also good would be some stand ins for the Doom Patrol. In this case, they'd probably be those who were in the Swords of the Savior. People who knew Beast Boy when he was struggling to keep up with them. Perhaps they hold him in contempt for being too weak, perhaps they don't blame him because he was just a kid.

AU Ideas: A librarian in Union. She's known for being fascinated in ancient technology, and for having been tried for murder that one time when a man died as a result of injuries sustained during a duel. She was found not guilty, but she still has a bit of a reputation.

She succeeded only because of his asthma difficulty and couldn't be admitted asa Ranger unlike the last four generations of Ramirez men including his father. His mother was a Guard up until he was seven. So his family knows a good deal of the more physical jobs. He has currently been a Delver for the last year.
Looking For: Friends, aquaintances, coworkers, people who know his parents? Anything really.
Anything else?: Once I figure out how, he eventually be doing a masked hero vigilante type thing similar to his canon.

Brief History: The grumpy, lazy, aggressive and incredibly hax heroine of the Touhou series. Latest in a long line if Shrine Maidens tasked with maintaining the Border between the magical land of Gensoukyo and the Outside World while keeping balance between the humans and youkai living there, usually by beating up youkai who are causing too much trouble. Basically she's the head warden of a glorified youkai nature preserve.

AU Ideas: The young orphaned priestess of a small destitute no name shrine located near the Industrial District, who is latest in a long line of Enlightened Priestesses who made it their mission to promote balance between Humans and Pokemon, by protecting Humans from wild Pokemon and helping any Pokemon in need. Sometimes this tends to lead her to go out on patrols around the industrial district, in the Old City or out beyond the walls, where she sometimes helps people and sometimes gets into fights with other Enlightened that sometimes turn out to be pointless brawls caused by miss-understandings. She often ends up being right in the thick of things when big Incidents happen, just like canon. She is, however, a bit less trigger happy and aggressive when doing her job fro the most part, and a bit less reluctant to do said job too.
Looking For: People to come bother her at the shrine, people who have encountered her before, either because she helped them out when they were in trouble with wild pokemon before or they fought with her when wild pokemon breached the walls or something. Pretty much anything.

Canon Name: Tales of the Abyss
Brief History: 35 year old Colonel with a reputation of scavenging corpses after battles. Used to be a creepy child genius, but nowadays he's usually quite playful and teasing with his friends, prone to a mildly sadistic and quite condescending form of humour, all the while claiming he is always serious. Despite that, he's verrrrry competent and almost scarily cold and logical when the situation calls for it.

AU Ideas:
tl;dr version of his history: accidentally murdered his teacher, failed to resurrect her with his ghost/psychic powers, got fostered by the Curtiss ranger family and became a respected researcher specializing in weapon development, all the while carrying on unethical and dangerous experiments in secret with the aim of creating copies of dead people to "resurrect" them. Sees the errors of his ways after an experiment gone awry, quit his researcher job and joined the rangers instead, where he rose up the ranks. Is now a senior member of the Survey Corps, so if anyone wants to join in, give me a nudge.

Looking For: Former researcher buddies/rivals/enemies! Hopefully both from the legal, official world and from the secret unethical side. Also, ranger buddies! Drinking buddies! I'd love for him to have CR with older or more mature characters who he can respect, but also with bratty characters he can mock and be mutually antagonistic with. Would also love younger/more playful characters who'd tease him back in return.

Anything else?: I'm thinking about starting a small expedition out to the wilderness once the game opens. Could be a good opportunity for CR! Chime in if you're interested.

Brief History: 13-year-old kid who lived alone in the wilderness after his grandfather died. Can communicate with plants and animals and protects the forest from humans. Learns that not all humans are bad, summons a giant robot, and fights a gay angel who's kidnapping humans for fertilizer. Is actually the reincarnation of an angel who was the gay angel's lover before he fell in love with a human woman and betrayed his people for her, spreading heartbreak and resentment on all sides.

AU Ideas: Here, Apollo's a Psychic/Fighting Child of the Verdant Forest and has been living in the city with his grandfather, who's been teaching him about being a Ranger. He's following his grandfather's goal of ensuring that humans and Pokémon can live in harmony and is actually a Ranger at 13, which makes the higher-ups kind of nervous and unwilling to send him very far out until he's older, even though he's good enough that it wouldn't be a big problem.

Looking For: People who need a Ranger guide, people who he can talk about nature with, really I'm not picky.

AU Ideas: Ghost/Psychic/Flying God of War and a Historian; given his abilities, he sometimes accompanies Delver teams to help out in a crisis. Works occasional shifts at some Union café and is probably paid in coffee. Creates huge, colorful graffiti murals in the less-posh parts of town -- and is a designer in several areas -- under the alias CAT. Strongly believes in human life outside of Union; will be exploring with Joshua Kiryu.

Looking For: Anything and everything! Delvers to work alongside, people who know of CAT's artwork, friends met through coffee and chattiness. Café employees. People to meet in the wilderness; he'll want to check out anything related to old civilizations or signs of human life.

Brief History: The silent protagonist from that one game that doesn't really have "happy" endings, just two glorified bad ones, a straight-up bad end, and a better ending. He starts out as a Casualry aka a commoner in the Eastern Kingdom of Mikado that goes through the Rite with his childhood friend when they both turned eighteen. He was selected to be a samurai, his friend wasn't, and Flynn goes on to become a defender against demons that threatened Mikado from Naraku. Adventure and various plot points unfold, along with many demons becoming his allies that ultimately culminated in Flynn killing two of his friends in order to remove the dome over Tokyo and resurrect the Goddess.

AU Ideas: He is a Normal/Steel Kindred Soul and part of the Guard. Given his quiet nature, he doesn't really approach others all that much unless he's lost or looking for help. When he's not on duty, he'll sometimes go out and wander about the city and the forest.

Looking For: Everything and anything. Potential friends would be splendid though.

Brief History: Jean is a spoiled brat who did well in school but was such an asshole to everyone that he got sent to the Guard instead of the Swords of the Savior (crushing his dreams a little bit.) He hasn't given up on that but he's still a huge jerk and he whines a lot. A lot. He's Flying/Normal as far as his enlightenment goes, which means he's got these doofy wings on his lower back that don't do anything and it's... well it's really embarrassing. SHIT this was supposed to be canon UM... Jean is the angry normal foil to Eren's super shounen optimism and he loses his best friend and becomes kinda nice? But before that, he's a huge tool.

AU Ideas: Soooo in the future Jean will actually grow into a better person BUT FOR NOW he's really just... a dick. I'm sorry. I'm hoping people can be mean to him right back and make a fool of him, to be honest (this tendsto inspire him to do better,) but if anyone wants to try and be friends with this asshole, I wish you good luck. (You can try and be his Marco, with enough patience..) That being said, the more people that know he's an asshole, the better it'll be when he starts being nice so I really just want to work up a reputation of his jerkishness. And I'm reaaaallly sorry if that ends with him being mean to people...

Brief History: Protagonist of Attack on Titan, Eren is one part rage and two parts determination. And ALL PARTS ADORABLE. Cough. Anyway in his canon he's just as clueless as the reader and it's great. He likes to kill Titans because Titans suck and they killed his mom and so many people. With his powers he ends up becoming humanity's greatest hope and we're all screwed.

AU Ideas: Eren is an artificially created Enlightened Shifter, and turns into a Shiny Skarmory. He's a member of the Guard, but wants to be a Ranger as soon as he's able. He's friends with Jean even though Jean is a shit person HE'S GONNA GET BETTER. He's overall a pretty friendly guy, all things considered. And those considerations are that his mom is dead and his dad abandoned him and probably experimented on him whoopsie.
Looking For: Pretty much anything! He's got Armin and a bunch of other friends, but he doesn't have a Mikasa stand-in at this time. More people to convince to join the rangers for HUMANITY!!! He also doesn't know how to fly. Someone please teach him before he gets ANOTHER concussion

Brief History: Once upon a time bb He-Man had a grandpa and some buddies and was hella cute and happy. Then his buddy's mom got eaten by horrible naked giants and they were all orphans and they joined an army where they can fly and kill stuff. Child soldiers in horrible situations: the anime!! Also they rly wanna have a beach episode. (Wiki is here for more info~)

AU Ideas: Okay so: in this AU Armin is basically a human Ralts, hairdo and everything. His Enlightened powers manifest themselves in him being extremely sensitive to other people's emotions, and in a post-war city, there are a lot of negative emotions, obvs. While nice emotions make Armin happy, sad or angry or scared ones tend to give him horrible headaches, leading to his overprotective grandfather keeping him hidden away for most of his childhood. The fact that his parents -- both Delvers -- died when he was little didn't help with this.

SO BASICALLY Armin is very sheltered, very socially awkward, but well-meaning and earnest. He just wants to make friends that aren't his Pokemon BFF (also a Ralts, duh) and see the world someday. He's on the track to become a Historian to appease his grandfather, but he has ambitions of being a Delver like his parents, or even a member of the Guard. Anything that means he can get out of Union.
Looking For: FRIENDS!! ppl to think he's weird, ppl to think he's interesting, ppl to tease him or want to befriend him in all his nerdiness. Basically since he hasn't had his in-canon transformation from believing "I'm useless, everyone hates me, I suck" to "I'm kind of a badass and my friends love me~", that'll need to happen some other way.

Brief History: In a game about lawyers, Maya's job is to channel her dead sister, the only Actually Functional Defence Attorney in the game, to hold Phoenix's hand and open pickle jars for him because everyone's a little pathetic without Mia Fey.

AU Ideas: here's her tentative info sheet and I'm about to update it a little. She's 21 and master of Kurain and while you can hire her for channelling dead people, she's more likely to want to prank your character.

I want her to get pretty spooky, but it's all for show... think the ghosts from the original Pokemon series who became friends with Sabrina. She haunts, but only cos it's fun!

Brief History: Acts like an obnoxious snobby giggling brat with a ton of knowledge he's not willing to share. Is actually God. Loves teasing people and getting under their skin. Cynical enough to destroy a city because he believes the people in it can't change for the better, but not a total lost cause. Gothic lolita clothing gives him stat boosts.

AU Ideas: He's a Psychic/Ghost type and formerly the heir to a high-class family of Psychic Enlightened until one day he died and was resurrected a week later (hence the Ghost typing). Now he's all about getting out of Union and alleviating his boredom. Used to intern with the Scholars, but these days he's more often than not found with the Delvers looking for anything interesting and working closely with Sanae Hanekoma. Hobbies include composing music and high fashion. Closer to twenty than fifteen even though appearances say otherwise.

Also he has absolutely zero respect for the gods. It's not something he really thinks about now, other than occasionally being disdainful at how much humans worship these creatures, but that may change in the future.

Looking For: Friiiieeeends. Snobby types he can connect with, broody types he can tease and irritate, fellow trolls, people who love fashion, etc. He's a hell of a lot less of a massive dick in Union than he is in canon, so he should be easier to get along with. (But not too easy.) Seeing as how he can somehow simultaneously be an immature brat and a fountain of enigmatic wisdom, he'll happily hang with either adults or teenagers.

Brief History: Dead mother, dead brother, deadbeat dad who ditched him to search for dead brother. Lucas spends the rest of the game saving his world from the invasion of the Pigmask Army alongside a feisty princess, a thief with a bad leg, and his pet dog. A monkey helps out sometimes, too. His favorite thing is Love.

AU Ideas: Lucas works at the Medical Center after his family was killed/went missing after an unidentified Pokemon attack. He lives with his grandfather. He doesn't really desire vengeance against this mysterious Pokemon more than he needs to know what happened that day and why. Haven't really hashed out the details of any plans for developing this, but it's something I'm thinking about!

Also for other CR, Lucas is good to get along with most everyone! He'll want some parental figures in his life, but he's also looking for friends of any sort, honestly. Since one of the themes of Mother 3 is intergenerational friendship, the age isn't a big deal. Other healers, Psychics, medics and the like would also be great!

AU Ideas: Okay, here's the deal. GLaDOS is Old Tech. She's not the lady in the icon. She's the piece of machinery attached to the lady's face. What happened is that a few weeks ago, Caroline (a Delver) went down to Old City, accidentally started the remains of GLaDOS' destroyed facility while trying to use her Electric typing to investigate it, and let's just say some emergency protocols malfunctioned. GLaDOS is puppeting the body around, and is tolerated by the city despite having functionally 'murdered' Caroline because she didn't actually intend to do that. She actually didn't properly 'wake' until she was attached to Caroline's face. That was fun.
Looking For: Did anyone know Caroline? That'd be interesting! Is anyone interested in old tech? Here's some that talks! Does anyone like science? GLaDOS does too. Also, if anyone is particularly perturbed or not okay with GLaDOS' presence/existence, I'm down with that.

Anything else?: It's worth noting that GLaDOS does not actually speak through Caroline's mouth. She speaks from 'herself,' meaning she has that unsettling robotic voice from canon. Also, GLaDOS herself has taken on the role of 'Engineer,' because that's the one that lets her get away with science.

Er, 'science.' But she's probably good at the actual Engineering thing too. You just have to get her interested in the project.

Brief History: The reincarnation of the worldmother made by an AI named after god in a seriously convoluted plot, who is now a magic-using Gear pilot that has problems with combat drugs and also reincarnated boyfriends. The second disc of the game famously played like a visual novel.

AU Ideas: Elly is a member of the Rangers and was very, very recently suggested for the Survey Corps. She came from a well-to-do (but not noble) family, and basically has a reputation for being nice, cheerful, and likeable. Everything is well and good, seemingly!

Except for a tiny little detail where she was part of a Ranger experiment, two months ago, to test a combat drug. Elly went berserk as a result of its effects and injured a few other Rangers. No, she doesn't want to talk about.

She's also the reincarnation of a woman named Sophia, who was alive during the Savior's time, but shh.
Looking For: It would be swell for her to have Ranger buddies! Including ones who know about or were involved in the Drive Incident. Elly will be super guilty about those people. I also would love to have friends and the like, in general, for her.

Brief History: Eiji is a drifter who travels around the world with nothing in his possession but some spare change and his underwear. He gets dragged into saving the world from monsters who are the embodiment of human desire by a disembodied arm who gives him the power to transform into a bugsuit clad superhero.

AU Ideas: Eiji is obviously still a hobo! He leaves Union for months at a time and then randomly turns back up again. He is actually from Union, and while you'll never get this out of him, used to be a rich noblekid. Then some bad stuff happened and he decided to be a hobo instead.

He's gonna be an ice/flying enlightened with Child of the Verdant Forest. He is also going to have some serious issues with controlling his powers. YEAH.

Looking For: Anything really! Past acquaintances, new people for him to meet. Shenanigans.

Brief History: A cynical 16-year-old Engineer who insists on working for everything he gets and not accepting charity. Doesn't advertize his Enlightened status because he wants to be judged based on his skills, not something he happened to be born with. Was orphaned at ten and spent as little time as possible at the orphanage, instead doing odd jobs, getting a part-time job, and then getting a job at the Laboratories when someone from there discovered his Enlightened abilities. He's been there for a bit under a year at this point.

AU Ideas: For now, he's going to be alternating between trips out of the city and holed up in the city tinkering and working with whatever technology he can get his hands on.
Looking For: People who can get him to rely on others more, people to annoy him by giving him gifts and making him feel obligated to get them something in return, people who want him to build stuff for him (objects of questionable legality are an option too), pretty much anything, really.

Brief History: Dist is a man who can't let go of the past. Everything he does is to bring his dead teacher back to life. Literally. He's ruthless and intelligent, but he's also a comic relief villain who's very egotistical and self-centered.

AU Ideas: Dist is still very much the same (egotistical comic relief villain who wants to revive his teacher), but he's a member of the Swords of the Savior and uses his position of power to scope out people who might have powers that could assist in his research. He's trying to create an illusion of Nebilim, the woman he so desperately wants to bring back, so he's looking for Ghost- and/or Psychic-types.
Looking For: There's really nothing I don't want! I'd love to find people for Dist to manipulate, but I'm just as open to people insulting him and making fun of his ridiculousness. I'd definitely love to have him form some positive relationships with other science-y types though!

AU Ideas: Jet's a Flying/steel type and I intend for him to grow wings and metal limbs similar to his canon cybernetics later on, once he levels up. For now, he lives alone with his Fletchling and attends college as he aims to be an Engineer. He already has a part time job doing small fixes and whatever other odd-jobs he can find for himself.

Looking For: Friends, people to rub him the wrong way (it's not that hard, he just has to think you're an asshole) and people to troll. He has the Analyst ability so I think that could come into play with making friends/meeting new people and the like. He should also probably find a travel buddy because safety in numbers.

Also younger kids he can adopt as little siblings since he's a huge big-brother type.

Canon Name: Kingdom Hearts
Brief History: Sora is a cheerful and optimistic kid who lived a normal life up until he was 14, when he was forced into an inter-planetary war to help fend off monsters called the Heartless that are essentially heart eating zombies. To make it weirder, his companions were a talking duck and dog.

AU Ideas: Sora is a Psychic/Flying type who for backstory reasons, has only been available for about the past year in Union City for pre-existing CR (though he'll sure say he's from here). He's cheerful, friendly and really looking to join the Rangers. As of right now, he's currently staying at an orphanage. He can also almost always be found with his Shinx named Simba.

Looking For: I would love any sort of CR! As I mentioned before, Sora's only been around to make connections the past year so I can't do anything like childhood friends. But friends, teachers, adult figures, bullies- anything at all! If there are any perceptive types who might notice there's something odd about Sora, we can work something out!

AU Ideas: You can find his information and app on his journal. He is an Shifter Enlightened and very well fond of fire type pokemon. Transforms into a Cyndaquil and is part of the city guard.

Looking For: For the most part I would love CR with the other city guard members and any other shifters. Mostly just settling in if anyone would like to explore with him just let me know. Anything else would be fine too.

Character Name: The Hero of Brightwall (Ashlynn Gealb'honn)
Canon Name: Fable (The video game series, Fable 3 specifically)
Brief History: Ashlynn is the younger sister of Logan, the King of Albion. It's heavily implied she never really knew her parents and that her brother took care of her and kept her sheltered and protected from the horrors of the world. Right up until he forced her to choose who to execute: some peasant protesters or her best friend/no-so-secret lover. This opened her eyes to the kind of King her brother was and got her angry enough to lead a revolution against him. Outside of being very quick to defend her friends and very mad at her brother, she's pretty easy going and happy to make new friends at every turn.

AU Ideas: Ashlynn is the younger of the two remaining members of the Gealb'honn family, which is upper class and fairly rich. Her parents were both Rangers who had a vested interest in aiding Delvers along with their other duties. Both of them disappeared in the wilderness when she was young (first her father just after she was born and then her mother when she was ten), so she's been raised almost entirely by household retainers, servants, and her brother. And been spoiled, too. Fairly recently (within the last year), her best friend/lover Elliot was badly injured by Logan's pokemon on accident and Ashlynn believes him to be dead due to the extent of the injuries. She has run away from home (at age 22) and has become a Delvers with the intent of proving herself capable in the eyes of the Rangers, so she can eventually join them. She tries to pretend otherwise, but being a Delver and exploring the Old City is just as much about discovering what happened to her brother down there five years ago to make him become the callous, paranoid git he's become as it is to prove herself.

Looking For: Friends from school (can be of any social class), Recently made Delver buddies, Friendly shopkeepers, previous household servants and retainers (those who still serve in her brother's house that she's no longer living in), Acquaintances from other Upper Class/Noble families, and maybe some Steel or Fire type Enlightened for her to bug about training with. I guess what I'm saying is that she needs a good social circle!
