AU Ideas: In this setting, Chris has the complete support of his mother who frequently tried to have Chris choose his own path. She succeeded only because of his asthma difficulty and couldn't be admitted asa Ranger unlike the last four generations of Ramirez men including his father. His mother was a Guard up until he was seven. So his family knows a good deal of the more physical jobs. He has currently been a Delver for the last year.
