1. Team Evolution is looking to set up a new machine test near Union. Are you here to help? Stop them? Observe?

2. A day at the races! Today in the Rhyhorn track, it's a complex course with several barricades, vertical climbs, and downhill slopes. Are you a racer? Spectator? What brings you here this fine day?

3. You're out exploring, be it at sea, or perhaps expanding into new, uncharted territories. Where are you? What are you doing?

4. Pokemon Battle! Perhaps it's training, perhaps you're protecting something important, perhaps you're striking out against something vile. Why are you in this fight and what are you doing?

5. Wildcard! Invent a prompt!

[ Oh, sure, she's having fun! She nods a little. ]

Yeah, definitely! How about you, you're having fun too, right?

[ Beside her, Sam the Mareep looked up while eating some noms himself. He's watching the interaction between Mana and Hilda with interest. ]

That's great! I'm glad you're having fun! AH! Have you tried any of the food? My papa is making it...!

[and that's when she notices Sam]

...! Ah! What a cute little Mareep! What's his name?!

[Cheryl chuffs a little in jealousy]

We have, actually! It's really good!

[ She kneels next to Sam and pets him a little bit. ]

His name is Sam. He's one of my oldest and closest friends.

[ Sam finishes his bite of food and bleats a little in greeting. Hilda smiles. ]

He says hello! And he likes your papa's food a lot.

[ She then notices poor Cheryl over there, reaching the hand that was previously petting Sam out to the little Eevee. ]

Your Eevee seems so sweet! What's your name, little one?

Hi, Sam! It's so great to meet you!

[Mana couldn't help but kneel down and begin petting the little sheep-like Pokemon. Cheryl, meanwhile, perked her ears as Hilda noticed her]

Veee! Vee-uueeee! (Cheryl, vee! My name is Cheryl, vee!)

[ Sam is okay with the pets. He's generally pretty patient (though when Hilda gets up to her more ridiculous antics he loses patience pretty quick). He leans in a little to encourage Mana to continue petting him.

Hilda settles a hand on Cheryl's head and begins to pet her and scratch behind her ears, meanwhile. ]

It's very nice to meet you, Cheryl! My name is Hilda. It's okay if I pet you like this, right?

Veee! Veeevee vuee! (That's alright, vee! I like that a lot, vee!)

[Mana sat there with a knowing smirk, petting Sam as Hilda conversed with her partner]

So... you can understand Pokemon too, huh?

[ Hilda continues to pet Cheryl, then, her expression becoming fond. She already really likes this little one. Then again, it was rare for her to dislike a Pokemon at all. She found she had a pretty easy time making friends with them. ]

I can. You can, too?

[ She looks to Mana with a bright, excited smile. ]

I've been able to understand them since I was young, but I've never met anyone else who could until now. This is kind of exciting!

[Mana nodded enthusistically]

Yep! Ever since I was a little girl! My grandma and I would always talk to them together...!

Oh, wow ... My mom never shared the ability to talk to Pokemon with me, but she knew that I could.

[ She continues to pet Cheryl with a warm smile. ]

You're lucky, to be able to share that with your Grandma.

Ha, well... I was really lucky to have a grandma as great as mine...

[she sighs a bit wistfully, a sad smile on her face]

I really miss her.

So she's no longer with us?

[ Aww, sad ... ]

I'm sorry. My dad died, too, so I guess I understand.

[ Her dad died when she was really itty bitty though, and she spent her life living in his shadow. ]

[Mana nodded slowly]

It was several years ago... around the time I first met Cheryl, actually.

[Mana's expression grows sadder, but she doesn't say much more]

When... when did you lose your papa...?

I was two. I don't remember a lot about him personally ...

[ she had several reminders of what a genius he was while growing up, though. ]

... I see. I'm very sorry to hear that.

[she reached out and put a hand on Hilda's shoulder]

You have Sam, after all... and if possible, I'd like to be your friend as well.

[ She smiles and laughs a little. ]

I'm not all that upset about Dad, really ... I barely knew him and all.

I'm glad to have friends, though, and I'm glad to make new ones as well. So, yes, we'll be friends for sure!
