This is an open testrun meme. Posts here may be used in lieu of a sample entry for any applications. For your convenience, we've provided a few prompts, but feel free to make your own!

1. Team Evolution is looking to set up a new machine test near Union. Are you here to help? Stop them? Observe?

2. A day at the races! Today in the Rhyhorn track, it's a complex course with several barricades, vertical climbs, and downhill slopes. Are you a racer? Spectator? What brings you here this fine day?

3. You're out exploring, be it at sea, or perhaps expanding into new, uncharted territories. Where are you? What are you doing?

4. Pokemon Battle! Perhaps it's training, perhaps you're protecting something important, perhaps you're striking out against something vile. Why are you in this fight and what are you doing?

5. Wildcard! Invent a prompt!

Ah, w-well, I'm not really from around here.. [ Where else would you have come from, Usagi? Mentally, she hits herself for such a lame answer because it was clear that the girl she was talking to was way high society.

They probably could smell lower class people from miles away... ] I mean, I don't usually come to the races! I'm more of a shopping girl myself.

[ Well, it was an improvement, but still... ]

My name's Usagi Tsukino. I'm actually here with my Dad while he's doing work.

[How perfectly droll. Luxanna, could they go now? Camille looked at her partner and let out a melodic hum. It would reflect badly upon them if they were seen with... her sort.

Lux didn't seem to be listening, however, and smiled even more, even giggling a bit. If she's at all phased by the difference in social class, it's not immediately apparent. No, she actually looks like she's having fun.]

Oh, I see! My name is Luxanna, and this is my friend Camille. It truly is a pleasure.

Your father, what does he do?

It's nice to meet you, Luxanna! [ And with that Usagi gives a polite and kind smile to Camille, bending her head down in a sort of bow to the Dratini. She might be middle class, but she still respects anyone who's nice! ] And you too, Camille.

He's actually one of the field reporters for the Union Tower Radio. I think he's actually waiting down on the field for the first place winner of the race!

[ And like that, Usagi turns to look at the race track and tries to squint to see if her father is in view, but doesn't see him. ]

He's probably waiting down in the shade right now. He gets to go to all the cool places around the city, so sometimes I go along with him if he's okay with it.

[Hmm. At least she has manners. Camille hums a simple greeting.]

A reporter?

[As Usagi goes to look, Lux riffles through her purse, pulling something out and putting them up to Usagi's eyes. A pair of opera glasses.]

Do you see him now?

[She could probably see the track much better than she could before as well, actually being able to make out the racers with vivid detail.]

That sounds like fun.

[ Usagi blinks at the sudden vision change, but, then gets to focusing on the area around. Gently, she reaches up so she can move the glasses around to find the rest area near the finish line. ]

There he is!

[ She watches him for a few more seconds before pulling her face away from the glasses and staring at the actual item instead of through them. ]

Wow, these things are really amazing! They're like binoculars, but compact sized!

[Lux looks surprised.]

You haven't--

[Didn't commoners have anything like this? Apparently not. She rolls with it.]

They work based on the same mechanics, however, have been modified to be more aesthetically pleasing.

[Hers, for example, are a combination of blue and gold, with gold wing inlays on the sides and a mahogany handle. She offers them to her so she can take a better look.]
