So, Nate didn't work out, but I still want to give this game a spin. And the character I'm looking at is this fellow.

Character Name: Ghetsis
Canon Name: ... Ghetsis
Brief History: He's the main villain of the Black/White games and the head of Team Plasma. Guy secretly wants to be the only person who controls Pokemon and to rule the Unova region, while manipulating his adoptive son N to that end. Implied to have been injured by Pokemon in the past, leaving him scarred on one side of his body.

AU Ideas: My idea is that Ghetsis is a nobleman and last surviving member of a once prolific family. A bitter man born crippled, he has mostly been living off the lingering resources of his family.

However, this Ghetsis is not the megalomaniac that he is in the Unova games. He's certainly not a good man, but he's not at the point where he's considering conquering the world. He'd certainly be corrupt, he'd certainly be willing to use people for his own ends, or metaphorically stab them in the back, but he's not a monster... just not a good person by any stretch of the imagination.

(I considered having him intend to form an in-game version of Plasma, but I figured that would be biting off too much).

His main goal is trying to earn prestige for himself, but through which means he's still trying to find the right opportunity.

Looking For: Ideas for any past or future CR would be excellent. For stuff that happened in the past, he's somewhat old, so chances of him knowing younger characters would be unlikely. But he's bitter and curmudgeonly, and if there's a chance he earned someone's ire through some kind of business venture or simply by being abrasive to another well off person, I'd be willing to work something out.

That being said, he has a love of fine arts, would have an interest in the culture and military history of Caldera, and I think he'd be a regular skulker at Teeter's, the theater, and Burgh Museum.

Anything else?: I intend for him to be a nobleman, but it really doesn't amount to much. His family's money is enough to live comfortably, but he doesn't have much power to go with his status.

Brief History: SPACE GODDESS who flies around the universe and all the other places too in a starship/library and babysits babby stars

AU Ideas: I have some bullet points!
-Instead of a space goddess, she is a Fairy/Psychic Enlightened with the Egg Mastery skill. She knows lots about raisin' babies.
-When she was young she left home (which is right now a vague "settlement away from Union") to help a Luma Pokemon find their mother
-Got lost, got homesick, can't go home to her own mother because she's DEAAAAD
-She gets sick/injured out in the wild by herself, but Pokemon she was helping evolves and carries her to Union. When she wakes up, she's in the hospital and the Pokemon has left and returned to the wild. The Pokemon grew up and became independent because of her, she was mama all along.
-She decides to stay and work in the habitat/breeding center to care for baby Pokemon

Looking For: Since I want her to be a caretaker type, she might get along with medical types and of course other folks who work in the Pokemon Habitat. Oh, and ROSALINA LOVES BOOKS. Any other fellow book nerds out there?

Also I would love to work go-karting into this somehow. somehow.

Character Name: Tohka Yatogami
Canon Name: Date A Live
Brief History: Tohka is a girl known as a spirit from an alternate dimension who came to earth and ended up having her powers sealed by the protagonist, whom she ends up falling in love with. She's an excitable, ditzy, clingy, and gluttonous thing who's super duper curious about new things. Her powers also come back in bits and pieces when she's emotionally distressed. She can also turn into a form that's kind of evil if the right buttons are pushed.

AU Ideas: So, Tohka is going to be a Fairy/Steel enlightened, probably with Egg Mastery? I haven't 100% decided on her perk yet. Her other option is Mastery of Training.

She'll be a member of the Swords of the Savior! Or at least a trainee who works so hard to please the higher-ups, but she probably causes so many mistakes it's a wonder she's still around. At least she tries! She'll have been off on an ~important~ mission before she arrives.

Her Inverse forme will be present! Which transforms her into a Fairy/Dark/Steel God of War enlightened and gives a massive boost to some of her stats. However, it'll be pretty difficult to pull this off (and it can't be done intentionally). This could potentially be an exciting mini-event or something.

Looking For: All kinds of previous CR would be loved! Whether it's Swords people or just friends or something, I'm open~

Character Name: Kenji Harima
Canon Name: School Rumble
Brief History: Harima is a delinquint high school student who, after saving a classmate from a dangerous situation, decided to reform himself because of his love for her. Unfortunately, she has feelings for someone else. What ensues is a mess of love triangles that are so crazy that Harima starts to draw a fantasized version of his life in manga format as a way to cope...which he then tries to get published...

He's impulsive and sort of dumb, wears sunglasses 24/7, rides around the city on a motorcycle, and somewhere along the way he managed to befriend a pack of zoo animals.

No, no one knows how. It's better not to ask.

AU Ideas:
-I'm envisioning Harima as a Fighting/Dark typed Enlightened with Kindred Spirit as his skill, to account for how he is somehow able to understand animals better than people.

-He has an average-class family and a younger brother, but somehow lives with his older cousin instead. As I don't expect to see too many castmates from this canon, said cousin is liable to be an NPC unless someone would like to volunteer for the position. Who wants an impulsive, intimidating dork scribbling out 120 page manuscripts in the spare bedroom of their home?

-He's a delinquint, so he needs a rival...preferrably someone who pack a punch as hard as he can, being a Fighting type.

-Similar to canon, he is definitely going to end up drawing a manga as a means of coping with all of the shenanigans he has to face in his life. Anyone catching him in the middle of all of this would be wonderful.

-I'm already working with a castmate about the whole love triangle thing, but for a proper love triangle to work properly we need more people involved. Who wants to engage in some rom-com madness?

Character Name: Yakumo Tsukamoto
Canon Name: School Rumble
Brief History: Yakumo is a High School student from the same school as Harima up there. She's got an older sister who's shorter than her, spacey, and completely dependent on Yakumo for basically everything. Yakumo deals with this in as friendly and graceful a manner as humanly possible, by what's clearly just sheer will and patience. She is also psychic and able to read the thoughts of anyone who has strong feelings about her. Which eventually leads her to fall for Harima Kenji...who is so ridiculously in love with her sister, as Harima is so singleminded she can't read his thoughts. She also helps him write his manga, and is pretty much the all-around model student?

AU Ideas: I think that Yakumo is going to be from a noble family who's parents are fairly absent. She'll also likely be Enlightened, as Psychic and Normal type, and I'm undecided between Child of the Verdant Forest or Master of Training (She's extremely hardworking and gets other people to do the same in canon). I highly doubt she'll ever find castmates, so a possible proxy for her super-codependant sister might be nice? If not that, an NPC or single-childhood works for Yakumo just as well.

I'd love for her to have schoolmates, and know various other people. Maybe caretakers or family friends too.

Also, like with Harima, a 3rd person to be involved in the crazy romcom love triangle! In particular, someone or someones who like her, for silly mind-reading shenanigans.

Character Name: Yuzuru Otonashi (actually I'm between a couple but probably this or a lookalike from another Key series, incidentally)
Canon Name: Angel Beats!
Brief History: Wiki article here!
Since it's not the greatest, Yuzuru is a dead teenager wandering in an afterlife with other dead kids, all of whom lived miserable lives and died with heavy regret. He gets along well with most and is tolerant of a lot of nonsense, and he's one of the smarter members who actually calls people out on their crap sometimes. Also super loving and wants to help everyone in exchange for their happiness and maaaybe some love in return in the form of thank yous, friendships, and love in general.

AU Ideas:
- Grew up being teased alongside Shino and lives alone. His surviving family member is never around and sends meager support.

- He's still a little quiet and even shy with new people he wants to impress, but having a consistent protective friend (or friends?) might make him a touch more confident and willing to joke when he gets the chance. He likes to joke about people he's close to (it means he trusts you!) and make sexuality cracks just for a reaction. He jokes with his best friend about hers so why wouldn't it be funny for everyone? He doesn't actually care when it comes down to it, it's more about people and love than gender to him.

- He's part flying-type Enlightened (and something else that I'm working out still..) and is afraid of heights, so that might invite some teasing or encouragement, depending!

- Because he's dirt poor and practically orphaned but insisting on surviving on little, he's prone to stealing food or idle things to sell at a small profit. Feel free to have a problem with that sweet-looking redheaded kid who stole half of your lunch, or confront him over stealing a trinket of yours. Shino's family sometimes feeds him but they're not thrilled about it.

- Like his canon self, he's going to have some serious amnesia trouble in the AU. Feel free to say you know him from something and... he may not remember what you're talking about, or he might wonder why you knew his adorable, social-butterfly sister before she died. Unlike canon, he won't forget everything.

- He'd be a great servant boy post-recovery from the amnesia accident. He does little things for sustenance and money anyway, so it's easy to assume he's done odd jobs for some families.

- Before his sister passed, he loved buying her books and cute gifts. If you've got ribbons, hair accessories, or anything cute that a sweet little girl might like, he probably tried to get it from you one way or another. Since she's gone, he might be giving away what he got or returning it if it wasn't his...

Looking For:
- Teenage misfits to look up to in this post-apocalyptic world?? Similarly, misfits to guide. Bonus points if he can help with insecurities in subtle ways or get into deep conversations to connect with people.

- People to help nurture his skills. He'll be a great shot (whether I go with guns or a bow, not sure...) and either a decent medic, passionate explorer, or a creative hobbyist with that imagination and weird scheming of his. Except when it comes to lying. He's a terrible liar.

- He's almost always with Shino, but they're not dating and neither has any romantic interest at all in the other. People mistaking them for an item would be great.

Anyway, since Otonashi's so poor, if he needs help with anything, he could always get into debt with the yakuza Team Not!Rocket Kuzuryuu's gangster family here. Plus Kuzuryuu knows what it's like to have an adorable little sister, even if Kuzuryuu's is. A little more, uh. Demanding.

I'd like to throw in my lot to have Melaka know him and assume that him and Shino are dating. She's older poor, she also has a dead younger sibling. They have so much to connect over. ... Okay not really necessarily, but I do like the idea of her being at least aware of him. and possibly have having known his sister...? or her brother knew his sister well which might be even worse

Character Name: Shino Asada
Canon Name: Sword Art Online
Brief History: Sixteen year old girl with a terrible phobia of guns due to a traumatic childhood event. She tries to rehabilitate herself through FPS virtual reality MMOs with varying levels of success. Online, she's become a famous sniper.

AU Ideas:

-Instead of guns, I'd like to switch her phobia over to fire-types to fit it more smoothly into the 'verse, given the basis of her phobia was being attacked by an armed robber as a child. In this case, she and her mother would have been attacked by a fire type (I'm vaguely considering Ninetails?) that got into the city proper.

-In order to protect her mother, she awakened as a Sneasel shifter and tore out the thing's throat after a frantic scuffle - only to become thoroughly terrified of fire types (but most especially Ninetails) after her mind caught up to her actions.

-Since her phobia is relatively easy to trigger, she's suffered a lot of bullying outside of the school areas as kids realized her weak point. She's learned to put up with it as best as she can, but she's been working hard to rehabilitate herself through reading up on fire types and occasionally trying to approach the ones in Union, though they still tend to cause her to lock up and grow sick with fear.

-Her over all goal is to overcome her phobia, at which point she will consider herself strong enough to become a Ranger.

-Aside from being a Sneasel shifter, she specializes in long ranged weaponry and is an incredible shot, although I am undecided if I want to go with a sniper rifle or bow. Kinda leaning towards bow, however.

Looking For:

-As mentioned above, she's the childhood friend of Yuzuru Otonashi and spends quite a bit of time with him. Please, by all means, assume they are dating. They might actually get a kick out of it.

-People she got on the bad side of in the past, people to be on bad terms with currently! She can be pretty aggressive if she thinks she's being teased or is just plain annoyed, since she tends to have a low tolerance for that kind of stuff. Add in her cold exterior personality and she can definitely step on peoples' toes at times.

-Alternately, people who can get her to open up a bit. She's very, very wary of other people, and will keep a certain level of courtesy (unless you annoy her as mentioned above) with folks until she feels comfortable around them. Genuinely (and maybe even a little enthusiastic) friendly people will probably have the best shot at this.

Brief History: Mei is a quiet, somewhat depressing girl who likes to sketch in her downtime. She also has a glass eye that allows her to see an aura around the dead/dying. Other than that, she's a pretty normal girl, albeit a bit creepy.

AU Ideas:

Actually, her history will be pretty much the same as canon. Except there's no curse offing her sister and fellow students like a B-Slasher flick. However, she was still given to her aunt at a young age, and she still lost her eye due to an illness when she was young.

She'll be Far From Ordinary, with the Analyst ability. She'll be able to piece little signs together in order to tell things about people/Pokémon, but the real ability lies in her glass eye.

Her glass eye was actually fashioned with an Odd Keystone! This will give her the same ability she had in canon (although only when her eye is uncovered), the ability to see an aura around the dead/dying/ill/severely injured. She'll also be able to see auras unique to each type of Pokémon. (Fire, Flying, etc.)

Other than that, she's an average girl from Union. Her starters will be a Litwick and a Gastly.

Looking For: Pre-existing CR! While her aunt tries to keep a tight leash on her, Mei would know fellow students, and she does get out of her house more often than not. It's likely people have seen her here or there around the city.

Character Name: Ichigo Kurosaki
Canon Name: Bleach
Brief History: Grumpy shonen hero who has the most sensitive heart and a protection complex the size of a planet ends up becoming a shinigami and fighting ghost monsters and other spirit samurai.

The current arc has him fighting against spirit archers who are both jew AND Nazi analogues. Yep. Bleach is kind of insane.

AU Ideas: OKAY SO. Honedge Shifter (because ghost sword, how the hell could I not), with a backstory that's connected to X's pokedex entry for them - Aka, that the pokemon is created when a departed soul enters a sword. I still haven't decided the time period from when his soul will be taken (and I'll need to chat with the mods to see what's kosher and what's not), but!

His memories on his previous life will be very, VERY vague anyway - basically, he'd mostly have emotions when trying to think about his past, or perhaps vague flashes of mundane bits of life relating to being a human. again, the flashes will be more fleshed out when I figure out if he's coming from pre or post war and talk with the mods, but he's not going to be infomodding or whatever! Mostly, he'll feel a very real sense of failure, since he died unsuccessfully trying to protect someone. He also knows his name, and that he's male. That's pretty much it!

This brings me to the second, most important part - since he wakes up as a Honedge first, and then wanders around the wilderness trying to learn how to pokemon and not die before accidentally changing into a human, he's going to think a LOT like a pokemon...and at the same time, not really. Since Honedge's lore is a lot less involved than, say, Yamask, I kind of want to play around with how Ichigo views himself. He feels like a pokemon, but he has human memories and the more he hangs around with humans, the more he'll slowly gain insight into how they work, and how it's all so familiar. Is he a pokemon who just happened to be 'born' when a human soul went into a sword? Or is he just human soul possessing a sword and desperately pretending to be a pokemon in order to run away from the memories he can barely remember?

...of course, he also has no clue how humans work, beyond vague half-remembered things. He's also, you know, a ghost sword, so he'll have to be taught to eat and do human things, and also be taught that you have joints it's okay to move and you won't break promise. He also comes with special clothing that represents the scabbard all Honedge have, so, uh. He may strip when if he ever gets into a fight in human form because GOTTA TAKE OFF MY SHEATH hey guys why are you freaking out??? The clothes are also part of him so if he ever lost those, he'd start freaking out. His hair's also longer (full mullet aww yee) in order to simulate the tassel...and it's also prehensile and he can feel things with it.

tl;dr grumpy confused ghost sword that does not know how to human/biology, and when he starts learning he may struggle with his identity because WOW that stuff is complicated.

Looking For:

-PEOPLE TO BE FRIENDS WITH/PROTECT because yeah he is all about that. Ichigo is a sad, sad person when he's alone and with nothing to protect.

-PEOPLE TO TEACH HIM TO HUMAN because boy, he is going to need help with that. So much help.

-PEOPLE INVOLVED WITH GHOST/SPIRIT STUFF to help him with the whole "I am a ghost sword that feels like both a pokemon and a human" and maybe just help in general to come to an understanding about what he really is, and how he's a balancing act between two worlds.

-UHHHHH IDK COME AT ME BRO? Ichigo is very active, and even though he's a grumpy thing he pokes his nose in pretty much everything. This will be magnified as he's gonna be hella curious about human things and how everything works in general.

AU Ideas: Minato is going to be an Absol Shifter who, after he turned into a human for the first time, didn't realize he could turn back into an Absol for about ten years.
- It's partly because he didn't even realize he was a Shifter? He went to sleep one night as an Absol and woke up as a human. He rolled with it.
- If he senses disaster, he will try to warn people or lead them away from the danger--he tried this once with two human travelers before he woke up as a human but they didn't heed his warning because... well, Absol's supposedly a doom-bringer. Unfortunately because of this, they got caught in the collateral damage range of a fight between a Scizor and a Dusknoir.
- After he turned into a human for the first time, he mostly wandered until he was found by Rangers, where he was brought back to Union and put into an orphanage. He hasn't really done much with himself since.
Looking For: I'm mostly looking for him to eventually get friends he can see as his family. People who can drag him into shenanigans would be great too!

Brief History: An eleven-year-old ghost/electric enlightened who can see the dead. He's got some connections with a few people in Ninetales Vale but he could use some friends closer to his age!

He's a prickly, anti-social snarkcannon but deep down he would like some friends that actually like him for who he is.

AU Ideas: The main idea for Norman is to get him to open up to people. So basically what I want is for everyone to smother him with friendship. Also, he'll be working on expanding his ghost abilities so look forward to some ghost shenanigans.

Looking For: Friendship, Negative CR, shenanigans, getting dragged into shenanigans. Norman having to save the day by using his gifts.

Canon Name: Silhouette Mirage
Brief History: Clod briefly appears in Silhouette Mirage as the final boss, but she's had solid influence in the game with her two warring halves, Hal and Megido Birthclod. She's one of the victims of the biological experimentation prior to the end of the world, leaving those who survived mutated, embodying either the Silhouette or Mirage attributes.

She destroyed the world in retribution for her suffering, but set out to become its god when her body was restored. Her final regrets before defeat wasn't that she couldn't achieve her paradise, but that her sister, the one who defeated her, would be forgotten by the old world, oblivious to her deeds.

AU Ideas: -She'd be a Psychic-Fighting type Analyst or Master of Evolution.

-She's an odd little girl with a high level of intelligence. Clod's drawn to the myth of the Savior and is especially interested in the ancient civilization.

-Her backstory's still in progress, but she left home (whether or not of her own free will) and started an independent quest for knowledge... of course, knowledge with her low opinion of humans in particular isn't a good mix. Regardless, her goals align well with the Seekers, but hm.

-So in other words, she'd be the weird eight to ten year old waif that pops up every now and then when something interesting happens, lending a hand when it could prove to be fun.


Looking For: -Other people that share in her interests would be fun. People who are pursuing the old gods and the history of Pokemon and humans.

-People to butt heads with. Clod has a bit of an air of superiority and she's quick to mock and poke fun. Not a good combo.

-Maybe other kids as friends. She tries to think of herself as more mature than other kids, and as clever as she is, she really needs a bit of growing up to do in a lot of ways.

-People who'd see a use in her, I suppose. Having a purpose might be a good guide for her.

Brief History: The Messenger of Justice! J-U-S-T-I-C-E! In a world destroyed by biological Armageddon, Shyna Nera Shyna was awakened and tasked with rebooting the world by making her way towards the city-large supercomputer, Edo. But by the time she woke up, the world is in the middle of a great war between the Mirages and the Silhouettes, with the Mirages winning.

Without really realizing the true significance behind her mission, she's fighting her way to fulfill the purpose she was created for.

AU Ideas: -I was thinking that Shyna could be from the Citadel. She may be working for one of the elders as a kind of delivery girl. Her route's expanded and she moves from the Citadel to the Union every so often.

-Her street name among the other kids is the "Messenger of Destruction", though she prefers to call herself "Messenger of Justice". She has a penchant for pickpocketing that she... doesn't justify, but just overlooks.

-She'll be a Psychic-Fighting Enlightened with Child of the Howling Gale.

-Shyna's unquestioningly dutiful to her elders and the Matriarch and is committed to doing her best with her delivery service.

Looking For: I'd like any kind of CR's! Friends, battle buddies, rivals, all that's good.

Character Name: Lambdadelta
Canon Name: Umineko: When They Cry
Brief History: Lambdadelta was supposedly the most powerful witch in the universe at one point. Able to make any wish absolute, she's a force to be reckoned with. She's...a bit twisted, mischievous, and cruel. While she enjoys playing 'games' that end with people killing each other or otherwise causing some form of amusement for her, she also likes to involve herself directly with her pawns.

Brief History:
The future tenth don to one of the biggest and most powerful mafia families, but never realized his connections to it until he was actually named as such. He was sent a not-really-a-baby named Reborn to be his home tutor in an effort to prepare him for his role. Reborn forces him at gunpoint gently nudges him into a whole lot of messes (sometimes in just his underwear), starting with gathering his inner circle, fighting another group vying for his position, and even saving the world a few times from other families. Because mafia.

He eventually becomes the Only Sane Man among a cast of... ridiculously colorful characters, the poor kid, but this doesn't stop him from picking up strays and befriending enemies. He has a harem and is totally unaware of this fact.

AU Ideas:
• The tiniest, cutest, most cowardly, and pacifistic Fire/Fighting/Flying God of War you'll ever see.
• Hails from one of the bigger and more powerful noble families of Caldera. And is its heir. He doesn't want to inherit because he just wants to be a regular kid, not some hotshot (hahaha) family head.
• Gets sent to Union to live alone in an effort to toughen him up because he's going to inherit NO MATTER WHAT.
• Is totally afraid of his own power, but when fighting it's like he's a totally different person.

Looking For:
• People to help him out when he's finding his feet in Union!
• People he knows from Caldera! Friends, relatives (he has a gigantic family with lots of relatives he's probably not even aware of so it could happen!), bullies, old classmates, so on and so forth.

AU Ideas: I'm tentative but don't have much of an idea on what to have for him. I would have be moved from place to place but I do want to maybe have him from Union. It's in the air. Things for certain is have him have either the Kindred Soul or Master of Evolution ability and maybe a Normal-type. However, I am open to suggestions to anything.

Looking For: Yu can and will befriend everything and everyone because he can. It's hard to narrow down what in particular since he is a Persona protag and they can and will be friends with everyone including the bad guys. I am open to whatever his castmates throw at me, friends from before he shows up in game, etc. Wanna get him into trouble? I'm for it. Need him for a project? Sure he'll help!

I think I gave you a good chunk of my suggestions. Having him from outside Union (Caldera is another large-ish city that was until recently at war with the imperialist Gigas civilization) would keep that fish out of water feeling. On the other hand, Union's really big and definitely big enough to move around in. Thus far we've basically had the P4 people (aside from the Naoto who was here briefly) as being from the same neighborhood, rather than the same redneck mountain town.

And if I had to pick one to recommend, I'd go with Kindred Soul for maximum befriending and talking-to-animals factors.

Brief History: He's kind of an unofficially elected leader of the unaligned cybertronians. He's blunt, serious, honest, but good to his friends. Metalhawk is a thorn in everyone's ass and ooooh boy better not let him see you subjugating that poor decepticon! But yeah, he was in in the running to be elected as a leader of Cybertron until a certain screamer of stars decides that ranking is more important than friendship and shoots Metalhawk after the latter delivered a heart-touching speech about their friendship. What an ass.

AU Ideas:
He's a Skarmory Shifter (pokemon first!) that'll be from Mist. After their number has been dispersed from the village he'll eventually find himself in Caldera and live there for a while, get dragged in the war, be a good soldier, and once the blood's all mopped up, leave for Union.

He's still a pacifist like his canon self, but that won't stop him from defending himself or others. I want him to become interested with the tale of the Savior and maybe join the Swords group after he's done some research and whatnot. I'll probably have him pipe up if he's witness to a good chunk of classism too.

oh, and he'll be making friends and building alliances. It's like he makes a hobby of knowing everyone's name omg.

I kind of want to participate in the current Halloween event, but I'd have to hit the ground running (so to speak).

Brief History: In canon, she's the last of a family of opera singers after a family betrayed them and killed everyone along with Squigly's mom becoming the Skullgirl (deadly god entity at the cost of a wish). Squigly is trying to stop the Skull Heart, the nasty source of the mess, so nobody have to deal with what her mom dealt with. Also she has a bone dragon in her head. That's pretty rad.

AU Ideas:

☞ Her abilities will be song based, singing up fire and ghost-like magic
☞ Her family were professional performers, singers, and coordinators. However, they were brutally killed one night by unknown attackers when a rumor went around that the family got a powerful artifact (The Skullheart) that was only just tales from legend.
☞ Squigly's Enlightened powers triggered before her "death", actually setting a weird sleep mode in her while others believed she was dead and buried her as usual. She woke up years later, only deformed and mostly "ghostly". She pretty much dug herself up and left Caldera to travel and find out who murdered her family and learn the artifact business.
☞ She moves into Union, specifically Ninetails Vale

Canon Name: Maoyuu
Brief History: Demon Queen is the 43rd Demon Lord, who wishes to unite both the human and demon worlds together. She sees their constant warring as pointless and counterproductive and, with the help of Hero and quite a few others, helps progress the human world towards self-sustainability, while telling the demon world to cool their tits.

AU Ideas: Hoo boy, this one's a bit complicated here. I'll try to give the reader's digest version.

- The Maou family is a family of spirit channelers within Sanctuary, a smaller-ish settlement currently annexed by Gigas. They're fairly affluent, despite some... quirks (see next point down).
- The Maous are generally bad news bears. Most of the old family are made of of criminals and tyrants, and they seem to make it a habit of getting exiled. But keep getting invited back because they've probably learned their lesson; this happens every few generations.
- Demon Queen (human name pending, leaning toward Cybille) is not a colossal jerk! However, given Sanctuary's situation, she isn't as "Gigas is bad!" as some. She wants to see a world where all parties can coexist.
- Stuff involving Hiro (Hero), childhood friends, blah blah adorable babbies blah blah
- Demon Queen comes to Union along with Hiro, who is acting as a body guard for reasons.

She will be affiliated with the Seekers, and I hope to get her a job with the University fairly immediately. Her big goal is trying to get everyone to get along, and part of that is using past knowledge stored away through spirit medium stuff to help nudge things along. In-canon, Demon Queen, through the knowledge of the great library, as well as her own intellect, manages to help pull the human world out of the feudal era and, up to the most recent chapter, through the very, very beginnings of an industrialized era. She's done much the same for the demon world, but there are some tribes that are less receptive to her methodology, seeing her as weak.

Her powers will also cause some trouble later on, but that's not necessarily something to worry about at the moment.
Looking For: Students, friends from Caldera (which she would be spending some time in briefly), backers. People that might view her ideas badly as well, as they are pretty progressive. To her, war is a necessary evil, although not one she terribly likes. The whole not viewing Gigas in as poor of light as the rest of Union might create an interesting dynamic as well, although she'll be keeping that view under lock and key most of the time.

Castmates would be so much love, but seriously, who the hell plays from this canon.
