I feel sort of awkward to ask for this, but...! Plot?! Or well, sort of spitballing an idea for an expedition.

See, I have Melaka out in an intensive search to the Scorched Forest because only the rare was left but the IC reasoning I am thinking about throwing out is that she's been sent out (by some mysterious NPC superiors) to so some preliminary scouting before a larger expedition out to in order to try to find the source of why it's always perpetually arid and, well, scorched. It's noted on the map that it doesn't regrow, so looking into it seems like it might be a solid idea.

So I was wondering if anyone (I guess particularly any Rangers) would be interested in that. Because she's new I can't have Melaka ICly be the head of it unless it's just a bunch of other newbies but I would be the one majordomoing the plot at an OOC level.

... I assume this is legit? I'm not sure if it is or not but I'd love to get some sort of exploration thing like this off the ground if anyone else wants to participate! And mods if it's cool to do it?!

Score. Does she have any connections to be on a list of people to be asked?

A few likely suspects have at least met her and may see some potential in having someone who can telepathically communicate on a multi-trainer operation. Ogami and Asem come to mind.
