AU PLANNING MEME (OCTOBER + NOVEMBER)
Given the nature of AU, below is a form that can be used for planning purposes when plotting out your character. While it is not required to fill out the form, we encourage you take a look at the listings in this post and use them as a guide when setting up plots or planning character backgrounds.

Character Name: Vivi Ornitier
Canon Name: Final Fantasy IX
Brief History: Precious cinnamon roll too pure for this world contemplates life and existence for 40+ hour game.
AU Ideas: HOO BOY okay I hope you all like angst. Vivi is an Enhanced child, initially created to bolster Gigas' army. He, along with quite a few others created with similar powers to him, has a very large flaw, however: in exchange for his Enhanced powers, he and his "siblings" have a very shortened lifespan. While it is not nearly as short as it is in canon (roughly a year), it is very unlikely that any who went through the same horrific transformation that he did will see adulthood. He will have no memory of any of this, or where he's originally from when apped in.
I'm toying with the idea of having him and the other "black mages" be from Mist, because I love crossing streams and puns and etc. Going Dark and either Normal or Psychic for his typing, and Egg Mastery for his ability. Because why not.
He'll also have the rudest Murkrow in existence, because this poor child can never catch a break.
Looking For: PRECIOUS DEATH MAGE NEEDS FRIENDS SOMEONE PLEASE ADOPT THIS AWKWARD DOOF OF A CHILD.
Character Name: Mirai Kuriyama
Canon Name: Beyond the Boundary
Brief History: Also an absolute angst factory. From an old family of spirit warriors who can manipulate blood magic, murders her adoptive not!sister after she is possessed by a youmu (essentially a demon), and is bent on MAKING THINGS RIGHT. Crotchety old man in an adorable girl's body.
AU Ideas: Mirai is from an old blood mage family within Sanctuary. Much of her backstory will remain unchanged, with youmu being changed out for certain malicious ghost and dark type pokemon. Yui still dies, Mirai still feels like absolute crap about it.
Ghost/Fighting, God of War or Mastery of Battle, despite the fact that she severely downgrades her abilities initially. She will also be starting at level 1 instead of 12.
Looking For: People who might know her in Sanctuary/know about what happened with the Inami family/her adoptive family. People she can think are unpleasant. Really I'm up for just about anything, hit me with your best shot!

Canon Name: suite precure♪
Brief History: the better half of an excessively froofy, musical-themed, monster-fighting magical girl duo. she's strict, reactionary, somewhat bossy, easily flustered, and a bit of a perfectionist, but overall well meaning. also, she can make the meanest batch of cupcakes you will ever taste.
AU Ideas: daughter and "heiress" (nothing accounts for taste, no pun intended) of the lucky spoon cupcake empire in union. her parents likely have one very fancy flagship store for all your adorable sweet treat and party needs, though would like to expand! normal/fairy typing initially, with her final evolution being fairy/fighting. she'll have a very hospitable cleffa for a starter, who loves her tiny apron and job decorating cupcakes.
Looking For: fancy girlfriends (or boyfriends?!) and customers to adore and fuss over, delinquents and other less than savory types to shove her out of her comfort zone because she deserves it, anyone she can feed, yell at lovingly, blush her face off around...

Canon Name: ronin warriors (I'M GOING HERE, YES I AM)
Brief History: a ridiculous mahou shounen, better known as the aloof pretty boy of his quintet of armor-clad evil-fighting nerdlords. he's a rebellious child from a matriarchal family, and his powers are derived from light. despite his rebellious streak, he's more or less a crotchety (if not intensely loyal) old man trapped in a hot guy's body.
AU Ideas: probably still a crotchety old man trapped in a hot rebellious teen body. liiikely to be from citadel so he can also be from a matriarchal society, but i'm not completely sure yet THIS ONE IS STILL IN THE HELLA PLANNING STAGE. electric/steel (or possible psychic) type mastery of training with a honedge starter, though i'm really in it for a flabébé who will gently put flowers in his amazing 80's hair while he meditates. #priorities
Looking For: anyone who will take great enjoyment in hassling the heck out of him in as many manners as possible because he's far too calm and collected to exist. fellow ~warriors, training nuts, ultra nerds, hotheads... bring me your fires and flyings.

Also, so Sanae and Sage are from the same place, and while she has been extremely sheltered, I could understand them having at least a passing familiarity with one another.
Also, I'm still fully intending on having Excellen make Sage's life a living hell, if you're up for it.

Also yesssss this would be super cute. She currently works for the theater with a bunch of masked heroes, which if that's Sage's thing he should totally get in on that. Haruka could use someone to face off with in the bish-off.
Or we can just stick him in a dress that works too.

Brief History: Super poor thief girl discovers she has awesome powers and then teams up with Ocean's Eleven to kill God and destroy his empire. There's a lot of ash.
AU Ideas: (Here is where you talk about what plans you may have for your character's intended AU. Reading this, others should hopefully get an idea of what you intend to do with your character's back story pertaining to the game's setting.)
Looking For: Here, Vin is from Sanctuary. She was a street rat who is half-Gigan, and inherited her Earthkin powers from her mother, who had some Calderan in her ancestry. She was very poor and became a thief with her brother, until he up and vanished. She didn't realize that she was Enlightened, and spent most of her childhood being super poor and kind of abused. But, during the rebellion, some of Sanctuary's resistance figured out that she was actually an Enlightened.
She's a God of War, with Steel/Fighting/Flying as her types. She assisted in overthrowing Gigas's occupation; however, she has a low regard for the Magi, having been super poor and because of the way Magi frown upon normal Enlightened. She decided to go explore the world, instead.
She is generally kind of distrustful, prone to scowling, and suspicious; she also is very new to her abilities and figuring out how they work and her place in the world. I'm looking for pretty much anything; people who knew her as a street rat in Sanctuary, people who can meet her now, and anything else!
