Various points to toss out while I try to figure out what's going on in this crazy game:

1. If a character was just apped, does that mean that they just got their warp band?
2. YO KY: Buddy cops? I know we've talked about it but let's hash that out.
3. YO YANG: We should be punch rivals. Who have had at least one punch fight in the past and will have more in the future.
4. If anyone wants to add me for game chatter, I'm ProfessorProf. I use Plurk a LOT.
5. If anyone else has shit going on that could use a punchcop, let me know.

Point 5: Melaka has a past of public disturbance. Not quite crime (because of how severe crime can be in this setting) but causing problems back when she was a young Enlightened in her early teen years and some light property damage as a result, probably. There's some history which could be made with that if she's been on the force more than four or five years.

I hadn't decided on how long Vi's been on the force, so what if these two butted heads as one of her first assignments?

We should totally decide on some huge fiasco that happened just prior to my intro. Like, a pokemon theft bust that led to an Old City tunnel collapse or something.

I am good for this. Yang has totally been doing the vigilante, track down bad guys and punch them on her own thing, and this seems like it could have prompted a fight with our friendly neighborhood punchcop?

Funny you mention that, because Vi used to be a vigilante herself. It's possible she sees a bit of her past self in Yang, which is why she punches her so hard.
