Duke here is a noble of some sort, who just spends most of his time as a researcher than anything noble-y and fancy.

Going by the age you gave, Duke would be older (than the "seems" age, at least)

Brief History: Teenage boy gains superpowers from a radioactive spider, accidentally causes uncle's death by not catching a crook, becomes a superhero because With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility.

AU Ideas: He's a field researcher/Ranger Enlightened who is a Bug/Fighting type. Thanks to having been an Enlightened his entire life, he's had the WGPCGR lesson beaten into his head from an early age, and therefore Uncle Ben is still alive. (I am toying around with Peter accidentally hurting him when he was younger, and as a consequence Uncle Ben has a limp.)

His parents were Rangers who disappeared when he was little. Part of the reason he joined the Rangers was the hope that he might end up finding out what happened to them, although he's fully aware the chances of him doing so is near infinitesimal.

Right now he's 20, with a Trapinch named Amanda and a Spinarak named Webster, for the mandible and web puns.

Looking For: Ranger and Scientist CR, for anyone who wants to hang out with a genius who's always ready with a funny quip. Also, people who would've known Richard and Mary Parker, and people who would've known him growing up.

Either (or both) can totally work! Alfred totally got some private tutors for him after he got settled and such which is why he's such a bright kid so Peter could have totally been on of said tutors. It really depends on how close you want the two to be since he would have seen Peter around more often being one of his private tutors than just a TA.

Ruby || Pokemon Special

Brief History:

Ruby is the main protagonist of the game Pokemon Ruby and one of the main protagonists in Pokemon Special: Ruby and Sapphire! He's the son of a gym leader and an avid participant in Pokemon Contests! He hates battling with his Pokemon around other people and prefers them to stay neat and cleanly groomed for contests instead. He makes clothing and has skills as a make up artist. He also has some daddy issues wow, who's surprised. (No one.) He's one of the Dex Holders and a hero of the Hoenn Region.

AU Ideas:

Basically I plan on Ruby being mostly the same. He'll definitely be working/participating at Kricketune Theaters and maybe even working as a groomer at Pokeco eventually! His passion will be the theater and creating costumes and clothing for Pokemon to wear and look beautiful in. I would love for some kind of Contest like thing to eventually be a thing in Union, maybe the theater could host them? There's no harm to Pokemon or humans in a Contest so!

He'll also probably be the son of nobles but living on his own without his parents help with his Pokemon (even though he's 11-12.)

Looking For: Anything, but especially people he'd know at the theater or from working at Pokeco! Also people to tell him making Pokemon all pretty is lame, why don't you want to battle them Ruby??? Maybe customers for his sewing and make up skills!

Canon Name: Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs ( movie )
Brief History: bullied when little because she had glasses and was super spark and a nerd. decided to stop wearing glasses wear hair down and be pretty. Grew up to work for a Weather place and got a chance to go do a job because she looked pretty. A nerd made it rain food and helped her realize it was okay to be herself. also went on to discover an island of foodimals later.

AU Ideas: Sam is going to be a Researcher who excelled at school and does whatever she wants, but still got bullied. So despite being a researcher she acts dumb outside the lab. She'll probably focus mostly on weather changes and things of that regard. Though she's going to be overly tempted to know and learn about everything so expect her to be in every researcher's face.

Looking For: Obvious pre!cr with any and all Researchers. She probably hangs around the Rangers quite a lot to ask them things ~outside the union~. Also a super nerdy Researcher that she doesn't know yet, but mets and helps her to stop pretending to be someone that she isn't would be great!

Anything else?: She'll be bugging someone with a castform to breed one for her. jsyk

Probably going to take Kanji a while to work on his "if I won't let people give the kid hell over the fact he's not into battling, why do I give myself hell over not training ALL the time and taking time for other stuff?" Hooboy. ~Development~.
