Absol Plotting Post
Now that Absol is settled (read: has not managed to get herself run out of town) I'm ready to start tagging around and getting her involved in plots. If you're interested in any of the following plot hooks or have any other ideas, please let me know!
Shifter Life
Absol is a proud Pokemon who came to Union to discover what it meant to be a Shifter. She would be very interested in any other Shifters who were Pokemon first, or any historical lore that connected the Savior to Shifters. Maybe if there are enough, we could form a street gang! I mean club. A totally harmless street club.
Female Tsundere requires Annoying Best Friend
So yeah. Absol really doesn't think much of humans and her heart is closed to the idea of Bonding with anyone. I would like this to change over time; I would like someone to show her just how friendly and sincere humanity can be, possibly with the end goal of Bonding with that person. If you're a ridiculously-optimistic character who can put up with all of her tsuntsun grumpiness, Absol can prove to be a powerful friend to you and your Pokemon. She'll even bring home corpses and leave them on your doorstep as a present.
Fight Fight Fight
Absol loves to fight, and could use a strong and dedicated training partner/rival. If your character wants to have a training fight, encounter Absol as a random encounter or just fancies a brawl, she'd be ideal. (I'm even batting around the idea of her finding out about the tradition of "Pokemon Gyms" and opening an unsanctioned Gym in Union.)
I Fought The Law
While not malicious, Absol has little knowledge or respect for Union's laws. Her crimes will not be serious but can be disruptive, and she has a nasty habit of not backing down from a challenge. She will need someone to try and keep her uncivilised tendencies in check, and possibly bring her in for just punishment when appropriate. If you're a law-abiding citizen or a guard who needs a troublemaker to clash against and dispense justice upon, Absol can fit right into your plans.
Guide For Hire
Absol may be immature and naive, but her hunting skills are second to none. In the wild she is an outstanding tracker and navigator, and can even find shelter and food. She's even better in mountainous regions, since that's the terrain she grew up in. If you need a guide or bodyguard for a trip outside of Union, then she's a solid choice. She's particularly interested in investigating old ruins that could reveal more about the Savior and Shifters. Otherwise, I recommend bribing her with tasty, tasty food.
Lucky Charm
Absol's Ability is "Super Luck", and you may hear a rumour that if you ruffle her hair, some of her supernatural luck will be passed onto you for a short time. You should totally try it out, nothing bad could possibly come of it.

As for Shifters. Dylas is a human-turn pokemon and he's very uncomfortable in Bltizle form (He's actually from the time of the Savior but has zero memory of it).

My fellow is an originally-Yamask Shifter - who is using his being a Shifter to get back to living like a human while still identifying first as a Pokémon, and he's rather laid-back, reserved, and peaceful; I can imagine them being potentially-interesting influences on each other!

adorablyannoyingly upbeat andstupidlyoptimistic and certainly can put up with just about anyone. He's also apparently a tsundere magnet based upon previous roleplays and such. The only issue is he doesn't actively go out looking for friends, though he has no problem making them if it just happens to come up. But, yeah, if you'd like to, we can try to set something up between them!
If so, I hope she can put up with being studied.no subject
Oh boy... depends how much you bribe her with tasty things and play to her ego.no subject
Or maybe he'll just be annoying and pester her about it a lot. He'd probably annoy her with 50 million questions when he gets curious.no subject
Oh, forget my idea. That sounds way more entertaining. XDno subject
Hehehe. x3 "Could you show me your pokemon form? Please?" (No response) "Please? C'mon, Absol! Just for a second..." (insert him being thwacked here) "...Please?"no subject
With Sync she might be partnerish things...idk. He's less of a jerk in this AU, but still pretty scrappy and looking for people to train with.
Red is pretty darn friendly, and his team will definitely say so. idek what their interactions will turn into, but it might be fun.

I'd be interested in chatting with Red too. If you're looking to get some character development or CR with his Pokemon as well, Absol can help with that!
