Given the nature of AU, below is a form that can be used for planning purposes when plotting out your character. While it is not required to fill out the form, we encourage you take a look at the listings in this post and use them as a guide when setting up plots or planning character backgrounds.

Character Name: Duke Pantarei
Canon Name: Tales of Vesperia
Brief History: War hero who lost faith in humanity, he is weirdo NPC for a while, then suddenly winds up as the Endboss. Because that's what you do when you get pissed off at humans being dumb screw ups /thumbs up.

AU Ideas: Psychic/Steel Kindred Spirit. While being in the rangers for a couple years was interesting, Duke is now a researcher (okay, he has been one for probably around 18 years now-), and sometimes its hard to find him for all the books about. His flabebe, Laulyse, sort of mother-hens him, and usually sticks her flower in his hair. (So now he is stuck smelling like lilies all the time...)
Looking For: People to know him, work with him, make fun of how he has a flower in his hair most of the time. People to think he's weird for tangent'ing on odd things.

What field of research are you looking at for him? This one's father is something of a well-known name as well as technological advancements are concerned, so if it's anything to do with that, she can always say that Duke knows him.

Sophie's a delver by trade, trying to make a name for herself, and while her expertise is much like her father's, that doesn't stop her from trying to learn everything that she can about everything, and using that as inspiration.

I think Duke is working with technology in a "when was this made, is it some new combination of metal, what did they do around this time to get that new sort of metal" if its available :|a Less of advancements- Still gets to poke the tech things, and still gets to have so many books.
