Given the nature of AU, below is a form that can be used for planning purposes when plotting out your character. While it is not required to fill out the form, we encourage you take a look at the listings in this post and use them as a guide when setting up plots or planning character backgrounds.

Character Name: Yayoi Takatsuki
Canon Name: The Idolm@ster
Brief History: Yayoi is an idol with 765 Pro, along with a bunch of other girls. She's one of six kids and, despite taking care of them and working as an idol to help make money, she's super energetic.

AU Ideas: Not much will be changing for Yayoi in this AU, she's still going to have a large family, however, I won't be going the idol route for her (at least not right away). Instead, she'll be working a lot of small jobs with the medical center/breeding center/habitat tower/etc., as well as taking care of her younger siblings and small army of Pokemon.

Looking For: FRANDS. I'm mostly looking for previous CR for her, be it on the job or whatever. In canon, she's also very good friends with Iori Minase, a rich idol who's basically adopted her (adopting Yayoi isn't entirely uncommon), and if I could find a parallel to that, that'd be great, but obviously not required.

Character Name: Haruka Tenoh
Canon Name: Sailor Moon
Brief History: Super-cool, super-manly space lesbian who's destined to defend Earth from aliens. She's irreverent about stuff that's none of her business and a helicopter parent about stuff that is. Can be a jerk sometimes.

AU Ideas: Haruka is the Enlightened child of super-rich parents who basically let her raise herself since she was insanely talented. Other upper-crust kids would probably know her, but she tended to keep her distance - they'd have seen her at parties, etc, but that's it. She wanted to be a professional Rhyhorn racer until she started getting creepy Psychic-type prophecy dreams about searching for the gods, and as a result of those joined the Divine Defense Force about a year ago.
Looking For: Mostly I'd like to talk shop with other Defense Force members and hash out how her joining might have gone (especially since it's a secret organization), but I'm interested in anything and everything! Haruka doesn't really make close friends easily, but I'd love to arrange for acquaintances/rivals/people-she-probably-should-remember-from-school-but-doesn't. Also I'd like to posit that she plays men's roles in the Flower Troupe, because her character is based on otokoyaku from the Takarazuka Revue.

Character Name: Simon Blackquill
Canon Name: Ace Attorney
Brief History: A prosecutor imprisoned for seven years for murdering his mentor. He's allowed to prosecute despite being a convict due to some strings being pulled. He is proved innocent in the end and the true killer of his mentor is caught.

AU Ideas: Hoo boy. Let's see... I'm thinking he'd be a Steel/Flying type, starting with a Fletchinder and a Taillow. Considering having him be a Sword of the Savior. Definitely keeping the "seven years in prison" thing, but the crime he was convicted and cleared of may change. I'm stumped on what to do with positions held by certain key characters, however (or if I should even mention those characters in the first place).

Looking For: ...I have no idea. :'D I just need help ironing out details. Like, throw questions at me and I'll scramble to answer them. Or let me know what other details I should plan to throw in.

Anything else?: I'm a potential apper, and I'd really like some help nailing some definite AU plans down because AUing is not my forte. X_X

Character Name: Renko Usami
Canon Name: Touhou Project
Brief History: Renko's one of a duo of university students who seem to know of the existence of Gensokyo, an alternate world. Renko is a brilliant physics student with the ability to determine the time by looking at the position of the stars, and the coordinates by looking at the position of the moon. Long story short? She's a living GPS. And this isn't even a supernatural ability. She also gets pretty excited when discovering new things.

On a side note, don't ever get her rambling about physics. She'll never stop.

AU Ideas: Renko is actually from Gigas, and sort of until recently, a member of Team Evolution. She joined with the intent to explore and discover new things rather than because of their goals. When they left Union, she kind of hid out in the city, and shortly afterwards, asked the council for permission to stay.

She saw the distrust a lot of people showed Team Evolution though, so she knows very well that she's going to have to earn a good reputation, and she certainly plans on doing so!

Looking For: CR! I imagine Renko's been wandering around the city and some of the surrounding areas studying and taking notes. Union's quite a bit different than what she's used to, so he needs to learn whatever she can.

If there's a library of any sort, you can bet she'd hit it up.

Also, if anyone happens to play or knows someone who plays her BFF Maribel and can app along with me, I will love you forever.

Canon Name: Hanna is Not a Boy's Name
Brief History: A murdered man who got back up (don't ask him how!) after ten years to pick up a new life as the amnesiac undead straight-man sidekick to an exuberant and cheery paranormal investigator. Quiet, practical, surprisingly gentle, and with the apparent original-life trace remnant of a nostalgic attachment to paper cranes.

AU Ideas: He's going to be a Shifter - Pokémon-to-human, as the ghost of a pre-war Trainer who returned as a Yamask, taking his Shifter status as a means to go back to what he was! He's not going to remember any significant bit of his lifetime up to and including his own name, still - and if absolutely pressed to use some manner of name is likely to go with "Yamask", like a typical nameless Pokémon.
Looking For: Anything! Perhaps ghost enthusiasts or fellow ghosts, if there are any out there, people to chat over or contemplate differences in perspective with (temporal or Pokémon-human), Trainer partners, and perhaps people in such fields as exploration, engineering, and spiritual or Enlightened thought and investigation - the past's the past, and if he's going to be a Trainer again, he's going to be one in a different time.
