Given the nature of AU, below is a form that can be used for planning purposes when plotting out your character. While it is not required to fill out the form, we encourage you take a look at the listings in this post and use them as a guide when setting up plots or planning character backgrounds.

That's perfectly reasonable. Since Ky is so orderly I'm sure they would have gotten along amazingly!

Agreed. Garen might have some lingering regrets on not being as close as he'd like, but he pretty duty-bound.

Also agreed on the Crownguards as a whole, that fits the structure set in canon for them. I think Garen might have taken it as terribly as his parents, but not in the same "But it's not proper way!" There would be that, but it might also hit home that he doesn't know Lux well, may be wanting to change that up a little, and seeing who she's with now.

This is Imogen, she's sorta strongarmed her way way into being Lux's friend. She's a bad influence, worse than any of the boys by half.

Jason recently joined the rangers so if you want to handwave any initial meetings of newbie-Ranger guy we can or hash out some specific details if you want. I'm game for either.

She's not actually with anyone, she's temporarily living with someone until she gets her own place. Take that however you will, Garen.

Generally, my thought too on making the "my sister's been missing for two months" thing work, is that perhaps he was on an expedition with some of the rangers and out of Union for a few months. This would explain it. Handwaving the "well why didn't you call" excuse, of course, because no time.

Bertholdt might be a good fit for Jason. While Jason is not a Shifter, he WAS raised by a Pokemon Shifter Mightyena and is pretty close to her as well. He's also a newbie Ranger and could very easily be convinced to help people get into their ranks with applications or training or whatever. He's helpful like that.

Also, while quiet, he's a very friendly guy so I think the CR would be super positive.

Well we have that one thread going, but Jason here is super newbie ranger (basically he joined the Rangers the day I app'd him into game so he's still super new at it).

We can see what evolves from their Habitat thread, but I like where it might go. :D

Ohoho, actually I know a couple of us senior Ranger characters are planning to have a training camp for the newbie rangers! We meant to do it earlier, but the game plot made it get put on hold. But I can see what we can do about getting the OOC up for it this weekend :> And Teresa and jason can meet there!

jade probably won't care enough to knock some sense into him (because scolding is only reserved for his close friends of which he has exactly 0) but if you want to he can totally dish out some official discipline for Chester's reckless behaviour. Maybe put him on probation or something along those lines (probably less severe)?

Canon Name: Heroes of Olympus Percy Jackson Sequel
Brief History in AUland: Born from an affair between a movie star and a god powerful Enlightened. He was abandoned at the age of 2 and left to be raised by wolves a Mightyena-Shifter named Lupa. Lupa was a Delver and highly regarded in that community for her work in the Old City. She often trained Jason down in the ruins of the Old City and quickly awakened him to his Enlightened abilities. Jason helps a lot with the Delvers still, but his ultimate dream was to be a Ranger...which he just succeeded in becoming about 3-4 weeks ago.

AU Ideas: He's a God of War with Electric/Flying/Steel typing. Jason wants to rank up and explore mostly. He's super curious about other cultures/people and likes to make friends. I wouldn't mind figuring out some previous Delver-based friends or even classmates. Still kind of toying with his age in AU, but I'm thinking either 17-18 (so aged up a little from canon).

He already seems to be good/old friends with Yang and Imogen, so I'm really open to hand-waving anything. Otherwise, I don't think I have much planned out for Jason though maybe giving him head injuries could become a thing similar to canon...you know just for fun.
Looking For:
+CR with Rangers: Jason is the obligatory NEWB. Please tease him, initiate him with pranks, or take him under your wing as his Rookie. I welcome it ALL!
+CR with Delvers: Jason still likes to go exploring down there/help his "mom" so anyone with connections to Delvers would be a possibility for him to have CR with since he was practically raised in that environment
+Fighters: Needs people to spar with and train with, nothing too particular and not necessarily a rival but someone who will help him get better at his abilities.
+Friends in General: Jason is a laid back guy and in his canon was fairly popular at his camp. I'd like to build up more close friendships for him, not necessarily to replace any canon character proxies or anything (though someone who tells lame jokes and can tease Jason would be pretty awesome).

AU Ideas: See above, but now she's rebellious of her mom, has Pokemon powers, and surprisingly more issues than in canon!
Looking For: She needs people to try to argue about her free spirited lackadaisical whimsy, try to tell her she can't just be so free and happy. She also needs people to flirt with that'll ACTUALLY flirt back. She has plenty of people that she flirts with who get all uncomfortable and complicated and change the subject.

Canon Name: Tales of the Abyss
Brief History: A reformed mad scientist now serving in the military. Playful, trolly and something of a condescending jerk (mostly to people who deserve it) on the outside, and extremely detached on the inside. Emotions what are they?

AU Ideas: Was officially working on pokemon and weaponry research all the while secretly working on highly illegal research on Pokemon (and possibly Enlightened) up until ~10 years ago, when he suddenly quit to join the Rangers. Rose up through their ranks to become a senior member of the Survey Corps.

Looking For: Looking for people he can butt heads with, whether due to different values (irresponsibility gets on his nerves, and he can be quite cynical when it comes to more positive mindsets), or just because he's an asshole. I'd also really like to get him to develop closer CR with other people and find someone he can trust (or even become friends with GASP) although that might be a lot harder.

Anything else?: kind of slowish right now due to things going on but i should still be able to get to everything in a timely manner!

Brief History: A young Ranger who's lived with his Ranger grandfather ever since his parents died. He's been a Child of the Verdant Forest since he was born. He cares deeply for the well-being of Pokémon and nature and wants humans and Pokémon to understand each other.

AU Ideas: Right now he's in somewhat of a reactive mode, but I'm hoping to get him more interested in exploring instead of only protecting Union.
Looking For: People to prod him into making more of an effort to expand his horizons, but in general I'm looking for any kind of CR. I'm open to pretty much anything.

Canon Name: Original
Brief History: He was orphaned at 10, but has spent as little time as possible in the orphanage, instead teaching himself about machines and eventually getting himself a job at the laboratories. Apathetic about other people and doesn't like feeling obligated to do things.

AU Ideas: Hoping to get him building a boat and spurring the creation of a port. He's also irregularly available for building things for people.
Looking For: Engineer buddies, CR that will push hard for a deeper relationship than just "someone he knows", CR in general.

Anything else?: Where his nickname comes from. It's pronounced as a simplified version of that, if you're wondering.

Canon Name: Elsword
Brief History: In canon, she's not only known as the queen of the Nasod race, but she's the last one left. Nasods are a robotic race built by humans thousands of years ago. Eve was the only one ever programmed with sentience.

In BNW, she was nearly killed by collapsing rubble in the Old City back when the earthquakes hit. However, thanks to the experimenting of a certain engineer and her typing as an Enlightened, she'd been brought back from the brink of death and integrated with some old technology. The downside? Her memory was nearly completely erased.

She's just woken up from her coma sometime during the past few days, and will soon be out to pester the residents of Union with questions about well, just about anything and everything.

AU Ideas: Eve's body has been integrated with some newly discovered old technology, courtesy of Robotnik. As she levels up and evolves, it will continue to evolve and further integrate into her system.

Also, Eve will begin seeking more power. She feels she isn't strong enough to continue as she is, and as such, will do whatever she can to make herself stronger.

Looking For: CR! Any and all CR. I will probably put up her intro post either later tonight or tomorrow.

Eve's very curious about emotions and any concepts she doesn't understand, so people who will tolerate her incessant questioning would be great. Don't touch her though. You'll get slapped.

yes! Definitely :D Any Ranger superior would be awesome once it becomes a known issue. him and Erwin and whoever. It'd be great! Probation probably wouldn't work on him though he'd just run off to do things off duty sob.
