Character Name: Princess Mikotsu
Canon Name: Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea
Brief History: Once upon a time, the Sea Kingdom, split between the Red and Blue Seas, was ruled over by the Sea God, and he had two daughters: Princess Uomi, who was very kind, and Princess Mikotsu, who was very loyal. They were a loving family till finally, the Sea God passed away, naming Uomi as his successor. Mikotsu was outraged, feeling there was no reason she shouldn't have been chosen, and became paranoid that something was wrong with her. To prove herself, she gathered her supporters and waged war against Uomi. While she was close to victory, Meikai, the Great Sorcerer, aided Uomi and ended the war by sealing away Mikotsu and her Red Sea. Uomi and her Blue Sea remained dominant.

Years being sealed away, conscious though unable to move, rotted her away. Her enmity corrupted her and those around her into undead beings filled with malice. All she could think about was how she wasn't good enough, how much she would never forgive Uomi and Meikai, and still, she prayed to her father for help. When her ambassador still remaining in the Great Blue Sea managed to destroy the seal, Mikotsu made one last campaign against the Sea Kingdom... only to back away, morale shattered, when questioned by Uomi why she wasn't the one chosen between the two.
AU Ideas: I won't lie, I'm not sure how to fit Princess Mikotsu into the world. But I figured that she could have been from faraway parts that recently went through a civil war of sorts, mainly factional disputes. It was a war of succession that ended with Mikotsu's side losing and her being exiled from the lands. She set off on a journey to figure out why the universe had been tipped against her this way and what about her isn't good enough. Her main goal is to return with enough power and take back her birthright. Kinda heavy stuff for a little girl to deal with.

Till then, she's basically an exiled royalty traveling to different places. She'll may or may not be a Frillish shifter who managed to obtain human form through the sheer power of her hate, but either way, she'll have affinity for Ghost and Water Pokemon and found a lot of comfort in the company of ghosts and such during her travels.
Looking For: People to help alleviate a lot of that seething hate she feels inside her heart. Maybe people to challenge her when she's starting to get a little nuts. But it'd be fun for her to meet friends and maybe other noble-types who have their own visions of the way the world works.

I can offer Natalia as a noble-type for her to meet! I also have Minato who could probably fit into the first category, if she doesn't mind the company of a disaster dog |D

Hey, yeah! At the very least, in their respective games, they were both princesses, haha. Under very, very different circumstances. And nah, she'd probably be into disasters, misfortunes, and curses. The only thing differentiating her and Pharos' mannerisms is probably all the hate. And the inability to speak normally.

How would she like a patient hippie to talk philosophy/self-healing with? Signless is pretty good at reading people and once he got an idea there was Some Problems going on there, he'd likely make some overtures toward helping.

See, talking about her problems is something that she never really did. Fight and war about it, oh yes, but never talk. Signless might have to be pretty patient with her given that she's more or less still on her revenge quest, but still, yeah!

I mean, really, the poor kid does deserve happiness.

Luckily he has enough patience for an entire planet of terrible murderous aliens. It might be frustrating to keep after it, but he isn't the type to ever give up.

And yeah seriously. I got halfway through Wadanohara before it decided to glitch out on me, but I have got the impression that sad fish princesses are a thing.

The Archipelago wouldn't be a bad place for her to be from, as it's a bunch of little places with a tendency to have a ton of strife and places that just friggin' implode. Like Sinbad's home city-state.

And this guy has a tendency to try to help people even if they tried to kill him, and some very strong ideas of how the world should be.

Yeah, so it wouldn't be too far-fetched to have this big war of succession among one of the clans in the Archipelago. Is there a chance that the two might also be kinda familiar with each other?

Mikotsu would likely be familiar with Sinbad's city-state while he might've at least heard of the conflict within the Blue Sea Clan's territory, heh. Between the Blue Sea and Red Sea factions.

I'll be honest, you probably stopped at a good point. A lot of the stuff that happens at the end gets really difficult to stomach. But Mikotsu's still one of my favorite characters from it and she's probably a good person in spite of her personal vendettas.

But damn, though, this might end up being some pretty excellent CR. I really don't know what this would turn into!

It could definitely go a ton of different directions, aah. We'll have to throw them at each other and see! I feel like that's the best start to CR, honestly, the 'OH MAN WHAT'S GONNA HAPPEN' kind of start.

There might be a chance, given Sinbad's been making a name for himself as an adventurer/trouble maker and inability to keep his nose out of other people's business.

It's likely people of Parthevia might've heard of the conflicts and vice-verse (and probably in 'wait and see mode' for their next move)

In all likelihood since the Blue Sea Clan, while technically isolated, still does trade and occupies a major harbor area. Parthevia, though, is a land she'd definitely know. Honestly, maybe they've met each other by chance if Sinbad was bold enough to pry into the business of royalty.

Mikotsu was a much different girl at the time. Also, she wasn't missing an eye.
