I could definitely see Yuuna happily getting involved with a project like this. The Old City, and in particular exploring and trying to utilize old technology for the betterment of the current time, are of great interest to her. She dithered with working as a historian (and before that a doctor because she's not good with commitments) during her schooling but ultimately gave that up to become a trainer. It'd go along well with her.

So, here's someone willing to go into the ruins, and someone willing to do research/help with that sort of thing.
