Brief History: Took over teaching at the university once his parents died and has been doing so for a few years; unconventional teacher, uses art in class, enjoys hanging up student works and his own, home tutors if necessary. Took in Mary and Ib when their parents disappeared. Is only just starting out where adventuring is concerned and hesitant to do so.

AU Ideas: I'm not too sure about full blown class logs or anything like that but private tutoring in made up things while he sort of transitions from being a teacher to being a trainer and that sort of thing.
Looking For: Lots of CR! Trying to get my feet wet and plant myself in the game. Student CR would be lovely. Fellow teacher CR would also be just as lovely. Passer-by CR (he frequents the museums often! also cafes, macaroons and tea are his favorite). Parental help\comfort\wise words CR. All the CR! Maybe more experienced trainers giving him pep talks and things like that when he becomes a bit of a wuss when confronted with the idea of leaving the safety of the wall.

Brief History: Half-assing smartass who can be a real asshole sometimes but ends up the butt of her partner Michiru's jokes. Is also a bit anal regarding her Mission. I'm going to get my Uranus jokes somehow.

AU Ideas: Haruka is in the Divine Defense Force and just played the male lead in their play, which was a beautiful disaster because she had neither time nor inclination to memorize her lines. Things rapidly spun out of control from there, but she makes such a good male love interest the play was a success anyway. Afterwards she'll probably want to poke around and do more looking-for-signs-of-Legendaries things. Because Mission. Also, Rhyhorn racing at some point.
Looking For: Everything! She apped in with a large cast and is just getting to know a few of them so she's mostly stuck to castmate threads. I'd like to expand beyond that, so if you have any interest in setting something up just let me know!

AU Ideas: I want two things for Asemu at this point. First, I want him to discover something. Hopefully the map expansion will give him an opportunity to do just that. Second, I'd like a rival for him -- such as a member of Team Evolution who enters Union undercover and befriends Asemu before his true colors are revealed.
Looking For: The rival mentioned up above! Fellow rangers! People to embarrass and/or confuse him! Shipping! Really, I'm up for just about anything.

Anything else?: Asemu always dresses in mostly white. Make of that what you will.

AU Ideas: Not too many plans. She's helping to gather materials for the boat in plan to be built right now and will be training her pokémon and maybe bonding with a few more.

Brief History: A scary almost-dropout punk with a huge heart of gold and fluff and an insane skill for making cute stuff.

AU Ideas: A teenaged Engineer whose mother runs an art gallery/craft store. He's trying to find a balance in his life between finding a way to be strong as he thinks he needs to be, finding a way to indulge his artsy talents and not get told 'so when are you going to do some REAL work', and just get by in life... usually by shouting at things. Can't all be winners.
Looking For: All the CR! But as for some specific ideas that might be fun...

* Fellow artsy types, for example who might have visited his family's gallery/store, or who'd want to talk about his projects? Feel free to have met his mother in the store, too, or his dad while he was alive. I'm considering putting their place on the list of businesses. (Probably there aren't going to be any characters who'd remember his parents from their Delver and Ranger days...)
* A mentor figure to get this troublemaker back on the straight and narrow? Someone to help him work out what he wants to really do? At the moment, he's flailing around.
* Other teen friends or co-troublemakers. I'm really looking to expand his circle of friends outside of his castmates.

Brief History: Ib is a quiet little girl who comes from a wealthy family (not like nobility just the kind of wealth you get from a generation or two of luck and hard work). Unfortunately she lost her parents so now she and her adopted sister, Mary, live at Garry's place. He's their guardian.

Mostly for the past couple weeks she's been gently hassling people about art and wandering around in the woods.

AU Ideas: She's pretty smart for a 9-year old and a good learner with an eye for little details.
Looking For: Pretty much anything. She needs all the CR. Anyone who wants to take a little trainer under their wing or have friendly battles (most of her pokemon are around level 10) or just play games. Teach her things like art history or survival. She likes learning pretty much any subject, reading and vocab is her weakest though.

Any other kids she might have had arranged playdates with or met in some way. She was taught through tutors so school is pretty much out as a way of meeting friends.

Anything else?: If you want at her money, sorry, you'll have to wait like nine years. She doesn't have any access to it.

Brief History: A cheerful young lady who was adopted into Ib's family under some odd circumstances. After Ib's parents disappeared, the two of them started living with Garry for now. Very friendly and loves Pokemon, though occasionally can be loud and has a penchant for trouble once in a while.

AU Ideas: At the moment, she's mostly been bonding with her new Pokemon friends, as well as snooping around for any details and clues regarding a very reclusive artist named Guertena that she wants to meet, potentially even planning to travel to any places that the man may have been to according to some of the paintings he did.
Looking For: ALL OF THE CR. Anyone who wants to befriend a young new trainer and play games with her and her Pokemon (they're all around level 10 at the moment) or have battles and teach her things about being a new trainer. CR with any other kids that she might have met in some way would be great too.

Also, she'll be very interested in talking to anyone who is familiar with art, especially if you may of heard of Guertena. If you would like for your character to be someone who has somehow heard of the guy or saw one of his paintings in Union, then feel free to comment here!

She's also, like the rest of the senshi, a reincarnation! She remembers very little about it, however.

Brief History: Usagi's just your normal run of the mill middle class teenager with a Cleffa that likes climbing on things and Oddish that likes to pretend it's other types of plants.

Except she's not normal at all and in fact is a reincarnation of a mystical warrior from back in the day of the Savior. But, for now she'll swear up and down that she's normal. For now.

AU Ideas: Eventually, I plan on having Usagi come into her Enlightened powers as one of the first plot-y things for her. Otherwise, really, most of the things I'd like to do is just have her get into loads of trouble by means of getting lost in the forest or just general sticking her nose into things because she's there. (That's how it always works in the series!)

Looking For: ALL THE FRIENDS, because Usagi can never get enough of friends. Although specifically looking for friends outside of the sailor moon cast because reasons. Reasons that I have yet to figure out.

Anything else?: Bonus points if we can manage to get CR that doesn't involve me using Usagi's reporter / journalist father as a starting point. Other than that, nope!

Canon Name: Tales of Timey Wimey Shenanigans- I mean Tales of Phantasia.
Brief History: Okay, so basically he's a 31 year old researcher who specializes in the interactions between Pokemon and humans, and occasionally teaches classes. Recently lost his wife and a number of coworkers in that first earthquake back in January, so he's understandably kinda got a bit of a thing against Team Evolution. Other than that though, the impressions of "nerdy hippie" and "Disney princess" are some relatively accurate ideas about his personality. Seriously, you'd never expect that this guy is actually the main villain in his canon, he is genuinely that much of a nice guy.

He's kinda also a noble, but he doesn't really involve himself in politics so it's mostly an incidental thing as far as he's concerned.

AU Ideas: Uh..... He's been a researcher for quite a while, so he'd likely know people who are or formerly were part of the university or labs, and maybe a few students. He may know some Delvers and Rangers too. Likely knows some of the nobles. It's also a little hard to miss a 6'7" blond guy chatting with the local Pokemon too, so there's that. Child of the Verdant Forest man.

Idk, I really don't have any solid plans at the moment beyond throwing things at the wall and seeing what sticks.

Brief History: Poland gets knocked down, but he gets up again, you're never gonna keep him down, so quit trying already Russia, God. Chief exports in the modern day are machinery, manufactured goods, and sheer unbreakable fierceness.

AU Ideas: Feliks is the sole heir of a relatively minor noble house, and since somehow being let out of school sometime last year, spends most of his time out adventuring and avoiding his grandparents' attempts to get him engaged to, at this point, damn near literally any woman of childbearing age. He enjoys fashion and shopping, and has been known to get into fights with bullies (his own or others') and go out drinking.

His public profile was raised substantially when he ended up fighting Team Evolution's leader--and getting beaten quite clearly. Since then, he's been getting a lot stronger, but it's not like he's trying not to lose again or anything! He just gets bored easily so he goes out training a lot, duh.

AU Ideas: Okay, so I'm a huge gay, tracedarte and I where going to app them in as twins over the whole replica thing. Mostly the same canon only with more whiny rich-boy syndrome. Luke was extremely sick as a child so his parents where constantly worried over him, while Asch as perfectly healthy and would over compete for attention hence his angst. Not the perfect canon mirror but I like happy things and whiny teens. Maybe part of the Swords of the Savior, that's really God General-y.

Looking For: We where both thinking... what if they never awakened as enlightened till now? As for typing perhaps both fire, maybe fire and ice, or both fire/psychic. We'd like them to be able to communicate with each other though telepathy. Maybe shifters because lbr they are both special snowflakes of their own tiers. Going off the whole "they are the same but can be different" garbage. I'd mostly be looking for someone to bother them, find them interesting, negative cr, BUT OVERALL SOMEONE TO PICK ON ASCH JESUS. AU Ideas:

Luke is gonna be a Sword of Savior, because his dad told him to. Otherwise he's a spoiled bratty member of the nobility, only 17, who's never seen the world. He's been sheltered for most of his life, so CR with other nobles could happen but not necessarily be possible until very recently. Has a twin brother (albertstyle) who looks just like him so possibility for confusion is high until Luke cuts off all his hair. Besides that he's just gonna be moseying around and being mean and annoying.

Looking For: Everything! Pre and new CR, good and bad! Luke will probably annoy just about everyone at first, so there's that. Negative CR is always fun, especially at Luke's expense!

Brief History: prophecy says kid will end up leading religious order of the world, kid gets taken away from parents when young to be groomed into being said leader, did we mention this prophecy is a big thing, like really, really big, everyone hangs on to every last word and happening in it
also it says he'll die at 12, cue giant FML and fuck y'all too he wanted to live this prophecy sucks. proceeded to clone himself 7 times because when you can't upload your brain to a computer network like in proper transhumanist form because this isn't that kind of world/story/plot, you settle for the next best thing. a misanthropic, lonely brat.
also he adopted a wild little girl as a pet. yup.

AU Ideas: WEEELLLL if it's okay by Sync-mun I figured O!Ion here would probably be the eldest of the bunch of siblings in Sync's family, and waffling around putting his age somewhere around the 17-19 mark because I'm not entirely sure whether to go for quadruplets (...octuplets?) or something more pedestrian. So in that same vein he'd have been groomed by their well-off family for a Council position yadda yadda except that's for old people. THE DETAILS ON THIS WHOLE THING ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE depending on how things go with Sync-mun but his family probably pushed a lot of expectations on him since he's the oldest and has a duty to his family and blah blah blah, he's probably a little resentful as a result but on the bright side he's a lot more adjusted and less... vengeful than in canon. Still a passive-aggressive little shit that tends to look down on people though, though he tends to be more genuinely nice to Pokemon and/or people who have little/nothing to do with higher authority/politicking/nobility/the council stop me I'm blathering
What I'm thinking is that he'd be a Psychic/Dark Enlightened at any rate, with a skillset revolving mainly around:

• sound-based moves along the likes of Disarming Voice and Perish Song
  
• uh, emotional control/sensing stuff (stemming off Seventh Fonons being memory particles in canon with some flavors of the nature of Curse Slots fiddled with to suit the setting)
  
• kind of a minor form of precognition (? maybe, maybe not since that sort of thing is kinda yeeeaaah in an open dwrp setting...)
  
• some middling ability in barriers/reflect/light screen type stuff (Daathic Seals)

Hoorah magic sound and memory magic stuff? Master of Training, I figure, considering how he worked with and taught the canon Arietta. Has constant telepathic conversations with his Ralts, which is where most of the less-polite stuff he doesn't say to peoples' faces tends to go, whoops.
Looking For: I really, really have no idea what I'm doing help. High class/politically-oriented people knowing kinda sorta being passingly acquainted with each other? I'm up for anything, really, preestablished CR would be pretty cool and makes for a more interesting and rounded AU app history anyway. o/

Ahem. So that sounds good. Sync is also 17 for reference since he's second oldest unless we get clones 1-4 somehow.(Which I wouldn't mind if anyone has been thinking on it!) IDEK how siblings will work. I left it as vague as humanly possible in-case the other green-hairs did not want. Anyway since you are interested, Sync ran away 2 years ago, his real name is Ciro, Sync has because he copies, and he ran away exactly because of why Ion is annoyed with his family because he did not want at all.

I like the Dark Typing! That was how I explained the Curse Slot for him, and I think the Psychic/Dark combo hits all the points. I love him being a little shit privately with his Ralts. I am so up for anything with how they got/get along, and if he actually knows where Sync is and how he's doing. ='D

Brief History: The cute one of a trio of three with unfortunate amnesia due to an incident four years prior that ripped his heart in two, almost killed him and inevitably ends up placing him in a 10+ year coma. Also Disney.

AU Ideas: Ven grew up in Union with the ultimate goal of becoming a Ranger, and in a personal attempt to hone his skills wandered practically everywhere taking notes about the most ridiculous things 2am, medic walked past eating suspicious berries. Thanks to his lack of understanding in the 'Stranger Danger' field, he pretty much gift wrapped himself into a year long kidnapping where certain old, crusty men attempted to train him like a Pokemon, and the ensuing trauma has left his memory a little spotty at times.

The biggest thing for him right now is the pressure of what organisation he'll join at the end of his studies- Caretaker being the safe option, Ranger being his lifelong dream. He's also pretty uncomfortable around people who used to know him well, thanks to a bit of a complex about meeting their expectations on who he's actually supposed to be, in comparison to he is, so... That's fun!

Looking For: Honestly this kid is the most social creature ever. I'd love to have people who've known him as a bubbly, bright kid in the past, and realistically he's stuck his nose in everything, so occupation wise doesn't bother me at all! Childhood friends, teachers, Rangers who used to tell him wildly inaccurate stories about all the awesome things they've done-- and of course, people he's never met to give the poor kid a break from all that lack of self confidence. The sky is the limit!

Brief History: He's the physical representation of the darkness inside Ventus' heart, and he's pretty much an angry and sad little bag of crap. Also he looks exactly like Sora because of ridiculous KH reasons, except for eye and hair colour.

AU Ideas: Vanitas was originally a Sableye, that transformed into a human due to being close to enlightened individuals. He can't turn back into a pokemon though, so he'll be a humanoid forever. He also has the power to heal himself and because this is the only useful thing he has any knowledge about he's looking into becoming a medic. Other than that he's a lonely guy with no friends and no idea how to make them.

Looking For: Someone that would help him get confused as woah because of the other three with the same face running around. Also just things with anyone really, they could go from cute to you hating this idiot.

Canon Name: Kingdom Hearts. Again.
Brief History: Backstabbing snake of a castle guard who threw his own leader under the bus for the sake of Big Schemes, and threw his own individuality out the window to chase power. ...Who just so happens to act like the friendliest, most casual surfer dude you ever met.

AU Ideas: A Dark or Dark/Psychic type probably with Mastery of Battle (who might only have discovered his powers recently due to outside interference and influence. Not sure.) His skills run around the block of telekinesis, levitation (if that doesn't involve having to be a flying type) and teleportation, plus stuff with shadows.
Plot wise: One of the Guard, for starters, who joined young out of feeling that he'd be doing something important, but past that?
One of few people in the city who didn't think that Pokéballs were evil in a spherical shape. In fact, he's intrigued by the notion and what the technology of Gigas etc represents, and may even have made ~contacts~ in Team Evolution... he's not a pure shiny happy noble guard, for sure. If not Team Evo, then he's definitely got some sort of finger in a villain pie.

AU Ideas: I'm trying to decide between making her a Sword of the Savior, or a Ranger. Regardless, she'll be fighting on foot to start. Likely from a well-to-do family (talking to the Luke and Asch players about that right now), she'll be using flying types instead of pegasi, since there isn't really a parallel in-setting.

Looking For: Connections with people, and possibly a parallel to Chrom in-setting (a one-sided love with a higher up, or with a nobleman, perhaps?).

Brief History: Durza although once a human mage, was possessed by a trio of spirits that pretty much converged to form a single entity. He's cruel, cunning, and has the strength to match. Pretty much? He's a big bad sorcerer.

AU Ideas: I'm not quite sure yet? I know he's going to be a Dark/Fire type Enlightened (Either with Mastery of Battle or God of War). For a backstory, the only idea I've come up with so far is that maybe he was a sort of experimental Enlightened for Team Evolution or something (sort of going along the lines of his original possession in canon).

Looking For: PFFFF. Everything. Seriously. Previous CR seems kind of unlikely to me, but I'm open to ideas, suggestions and whatnot.

Brief History: Decided to leave Magnostadt because everyone there were waaaay to full of themselves and wanted to get away from it all. Before showing up in Union she has spent the past few months traveling aimlessly on her own, taking notes and such to further her research on item crafting. After arriving in Union though she'll be applying for a research position at the university and spend time getting settled in.

AU Ideas: Yamu will be focused on crafting items of different types, but her main project will be items that can gradually store a person or pokemon's energy over time to be used later, most commonly for an emergency. This is similar to what she did in canon where she built items that stored magoi (the gem on her forehead, the golden ear shells, and the pink shell cups). It's a project she'll be working on for a while and so, just to note, she will not have any of the aforementioned items on her person. Those'll come later. So her outfit is very much different from how she looks in her icons. Just... letting you all know.
Looking For: Any and all kinds of CR. The biggest difference from her original verse self is that she went from Magnostadt to traveling alone for a while before showing up here. She hasn't had the chance to interact with other people and develop as she did when Sinbad found her and brought her to his kingdom in the original so yeah. Gonna need to work on that.

Character Name: Merrill
Canon Name: Dragon Age 2
Brief History: Merrill is a Dalish elf, outcast from her wandering clan because of her controversial and dangerous study of blood magic, which involves making bargains with demons for magical power. She wants to restore her peoples' heritage and discover their history, but is going about it via a series of very poor decisions.

AU Ideas: I have some general history AU ideas and also some personal ideas. In the DA series of games, Merrill's race had a sort of Atlantis-esque city a long time ago called Arlathan that was destroyed by invaders from the Tevinter Imperium, which is essentially DA's loose Roman Empire analogue. They were then enslaved for a long time and lost most of their cultural heritage in the process, tried to build a new civilization elsewhere, and lost that too during some religious crusades by the church around the time of the Second Blight (read: horrible zombie invasion).

I'm tentatively thinking of replacing the Tevinter Imperium with the ancestors of the people of Gigas for purposes of her race's background, and instead of losing their second civilization to the Second Blight, they'll have lost it when the Pokemon rose up instead. And now, much like in the games, Merrill's people are nomadic wanderers, and she'll be coming to Union to live after being kicked out of her clan much in the same way as she came to Kirkwall in the games.

Being kicked out of her clan also bears explanation, however. I mentioned above that Merrill studies blood magic and consorts with demons for power. The Dalish do not like this, and wisely so, so they send her off with Hawke and the others to keep this crap far away from the clan. Her original purpose was to use the demon's power to augment her own magic because it wasn't strong enough to purify a corrupted piece of an ancient artifact she had called an Eluvian, which has a connection to a dimension called the Fade where spirits and demons live, but was used in ancient times to communicate remotely and also teleport between cities. But hey, surprise, turns out they're dangerous as hell too and have a big chance of letting demons through.

I'm still trying to think of a suitable analogue for the Eluvian, but I'm thinking instead of demons, she most likely bargained with Ghost and/or Dark type Pokemon for power instead. And since my headcanon is saying to me that the Dalish are likely strong inheritors of the Fairy type with abilities roughly analogous to Child of the Verdant Forest, this sort of thing is seen as sacrilege or at least heavily taboo. My current thought is that instead of a pride demon, she made friends with a Spiritomb, changing her own type from pure Fairy to Fairy/Dark in the process and tainting her soul visibly in the eyes of her people.

She'll be coming to Union on her own after getting the boot from her clan. I haven't worked out her starters quite yet.

Looking For: People to both validate and challenge her choices and way of life. Stand-ins for canonmates are always appreciated, as are canonmates themselves. I understand we already have a Hawke and an Anders, which is why I threw this together in the first place. I'm also probably eventually going to see if she can bond the Spiritomb from her back story by going back to where it was sealed and talking to it a second time, but that's for later and will likely be a player plot.

Brief History:

Angel of the Lord, pulls Dean Winchester from hell to stop the opening of Lucifer's cage, turns out the angels are gunning for the apocalypse anyways so decides to rebel against heaven for humanity's sake. Frequently rebels against heaven for the protection of humanity, but often ends up screwing things up even more. Heart is in the right place though!

AU Ideas: Definitely Psychic/Flying, eventually evolving wings. As for Trainer Ability I'm torn between Analyst and Mastery of Battle, though leaning towards Analyst as it somewhat mimics his mind reading abilities.

My problem is his backstory, and how much of Supernatural's actual canon do I try and incorporate into the AU...cause there's a LOT of it. Seriously I wrote out the most basic Cliff Notes for his history above and it ended up about 6 paragraphs. And I wasn't going into ANY details.

He's definitely been home schooled his whole life, comes from a big high class family who are extremely religious, and has been trained and conditioned to join either The Swords of the Savior or the Divine Defense Force. This part is set and done.

So in canon he is known to rebel and fight against his superiors for the sake of humanity, even before the Winchesters came along, but they were always able to recondition/torture him back into obedience. It's when the Winchesters enter his life that no amount of torture will "fix" him. So, my big concern is that there might not be enough discord and problems within the city to cause him to rebel against the system yet since the trigger is usually a slaughter of humanity.

So to rebel or not to rebel? Either option I know what I'm doing, I just need to figure out if it's a thing that would be viable to be happening in this AU or not.

Looking For: Would love some canon mates! Also regardless of which way I go with his AU History he will most certainly have served time with The Swords of the Savior, so he might know some of the older Swords like Ky or Garen, but maybe it's possible he served with a different Garrison? That way he only knows them in passing and we have the chance to actually build up CR in the game.

That being said CR from anyone! Though warning: Cas can be a little prickly and socially awkward, even if he is human in this AU.
