Let's make a Pokedex!
Okay, so this is a bit involved.
I would like to get a larger player plot started, and it's going to need a lot of help, and will be done in multiple parts. I believe that someone started putting in the frame works for it before they dropped the character (Jeff from Earthbound), so it's hard to say what all was in-tact, but I'll find out when I write my proposal.
I want to get a usable Pokedex going.
Using resources from the Old City, as well as investigating other ruins around the map (the official Ruins area, as well as the various triple dots around the map--a few in the West Desert, one in the Rolling Plains, and one in the Coastal Valley are what we have available right now). I'm not sure we'll find what we need in the ruins themselves, but I'd like to start investigation for technology in the Old City.
My general thinking is, looking for records and computers that may have information about how to compile the data. Getting help from Delvers and University folk would not be amiss here. From there, what I would like to do is recover said computers and bring them up for investigation; again, this would be very Delver-centric, but would also need help from University folk as well as the Seekers.
Not sure what we might come across down there either, so fighters would not be amiss.
From there, I would like to figure out a way to make this database--which would be player run, meaning that we will be filling in the Pokedex as things are discovered. I would also like to make this accessible from the Warp Bands as an add-on. All information won't be automatically placed into the database from the Warp Band itself when a new species is discovered, however, things such as a photograph, call, maybe some basic height and weight would all be recorded, as well as where it was found.
I'm going to need help. This is likely going to need to be run in quite a few logs, since, again, I don't know where we're going to find all the parts or how long that will take. I'm still working on the schematics of this player plot myself. What I need is interested parties, what they might contribute, etc.
I'm hoping to be able to get this done somewhat quickly, although I understand how these things can go. That said, I'll try to run what logs I can, and ask for assistance from the mods for the rest. 24/48 hour rules will apply on threads, so I'm gonna try to tag things every 24-48 hours, roughly.

RECAP
- Want to make a Pokedex
- Need delvers, scholars, people willing to go down into ruins; possibly funding?
- Done over many logs
- End result will hopefully be a somewhat functioning Pokedex connected to Warp Bands
- Pokedex info contributed by players

So, here's someone willing to go into the ruins, and someone willing to do research/help with that sort of thing.
