Plotting Post: Won't you clean up the ocean?

Okay, so, I've got a player plot brewing just on the horizon and I wanted to try to drum up some interest in advance so I can dive right in this weekend.  Essentially, what's going on is that when the new week rolls over, Squid Girl is going to intensive search and bond one of the Trubbish from the ocean area.  Since her whole deal is that she's a Shifter who gained her powers out of anger at the ocean being polluted, this will be a Big Deal for her, and she's going to try to clean up the ocean and get the Trubbish out of there.  This is a big task for one little squid, though, so she's going to need some help.  She's going to ask the Trubbish where its friends live and where it came from so she'll have the location that's causing the problem, but what she'll need are some volunteers to help her actually block off the source of where they're coming from so that they can't get to the ocean anymore.  There will be a log for that part of things that I'm hoping to put up either late Friday or early Saturday to get a running start on this, considering I'll be away for the following weekend.  So I'm putting this up a few days in advance to gauge interest in the hopes that some of Squid Girl's CR or some well-meaning environmental types will want to help out with this.  If this sounds like a thing your character would be into, drop a line here and we'll get some plotting going so I can update the mods on who will be involved with this.

Squid Girl loves the idea of having a bodyguard in general, so that's a big yes.

Apollo will be interested in this. Come the 20th he'll have his Tropius back too, so he'll be able to give a ride to someone if they need it.

Awesome. I don't think we should need the Tropius, since this will probably be taking place closer to the water's edge and a slight ways inland, but it's good to know we've got options if they need to go out a little farther. Squid Girl can also put her Gyarados to work that way, too.

Belated, but oh man. Just when I had Pamela drop off her Gyrados into the breeding center...

She would want to help, though, and she can accelerate the growth of plants dramatically as one of her Enlightened abilities. Her other makes her immune to poison, so she can definitely contirbute.

It's cool, Squid Girl's got a Gyarados of her own. Also, this is probably getting pushed back to next week anyway, so it's all good. I'll have to figure out how to fit everyone in since I think everyone who wants to help should be able to, but she will definitely appreciate Pamela's help. :)
